Angels with Demons

Filed under: Devanie, Hailey, Kids, Seasons, Sierra, Zach, aurora — Devanie @ 6:48 pm

I have some super cute little angel babies, and sometimes they are not so super cute.

and here are the reasons and seasons for each

Hailey. . .Is A wiz kid!  Super smart, intelectual, always thinking and into discussions way beyond her age level.  Loves to plant things and watch them grow, and loves a good book, She thrives on learning creating, drawing, comparison, etc she sings the tune to songs correctly.  However, she doesn’t grasp the concept of clean hair and face.   She showers every day but is afraid of water in her face so she does not wash her face very well, and her hair doesn’t get hot enough water to actually get all the oils out.  So that is our Angel and Demon in Hailey at thei stage.  she doesn’t have the outer responsibility to take care of someone else unless you tell her step by step what to do and how not to get destracted. she is easily distracted.

Sierra. . .Is athletic, bubbly and passionate, she knows how to get what she needs and wants and goes for it, She’s a mover and always busy.  She’s very outgoing and has friends galore.  She tries hard in dance competitions, loves to listen to music and make up dances and will ocassionally sing.  She loves to bake and create her own foods.  However her little Demon comes out in the form of a MONSTER.  if she is tired or hungry there is NO getting thru to her, she needs things her way at that moment and nothing can stop her from her grumpiness.  Trying to get her to do homework at that point is worse than pulling teeth, it makes anyone want to pull out their hair.  if sent to her room she will thrash about her bed throwing and kicking everything off.  She can be a difficult tornado to put back together.  It happens rarely, but when it does better clear out of her way!

Zach, Zach is very easy going he will play and watch TV to his hearts content, have us join him once in a while and he loves riding his bike in the house.  He loves Trains, especially the new movie “Hiro of the Rails” Thomas and freinds.  Zach is happy to dress himself in the morning and not be picky about what he wears. Zach also loves earning “Smiley Faces” on his chore chart that each equate to 1 penny.  He was thirller to have a choice last week between a dime, 5 pennies and a nickle or 10 pennies, he chose 10 pennies because it was more! Lately his demon has been going to pre-school probably because it’s the most actual WORK he has to do!  he gets into little fight s with Aurora and ends up in time out.  Once he even stuck his tounge out at me and blew.  He’s really a treasure so far.  No real big emotional issues.

Aurora is 2 she says EVERY word in the english language if you tell her to she speaks in 13 word sentances.  She has a very very outgoing personality and would go home with anyone.  Her hugs are so loving and tight you know she’s a happy girl.  She dances, and sings and loves to hear me sing.  she likes books but has little patience to actually sit for them and hardly stops moving to take a breath.  She’s a busy bee, Aurora loves to dress up, She insists on being a Princess EVERYDAY which means she HAS to wear a skirt or a dress. at prayer she tries to fold her arms kneel and bow her head and close her eyes, but her body wiggles and wiggles like a worm.  He little mind is very impressionalbe and she does whatever her sisters do at prayer if it is off the beaten path.  so her Demon is lack of good rest time Right now we are dealing with trying to get her to sleep thru the night.  yes!  she is up 3 times a night and wants to cuddle in our bed but we take her right back to her room put her back and 3 hours later she’s in our room again!  I need a good night sleep or this will be my demise.  I used to never get tired, but now with her up at night and being sick and running all the errands and such that I run I’m beginning to feel the TIRED that I have never had to feel.

So that’s that.  These are the my kids these days.  Mostly Angesl, sometimes with demons ;o) pretty normal kids I guess.

Busy Busy Bee

I have been working 5 businesses at 4 locations as well as taking care of all 4 kids needs in school out of school and running places to play with them.

I have been having loads of fun.

This week I am Pulling ALL my inventory out of 1 boutique that isn’t making me any money I keep losing $100+ a month to them so I’m moving on.  The amount of inventory is almost like moving out of a small apartment with a mini van full of kids so It will take a few loads.

Sierra Just had an Irish Dance Feis (fesh) Saturday that I took her to it was a long day for us.  She was cute and slightly messed up each dance causing her to not place in any event, But she will practice and do better next time.

We hosted a Superbowl party at our house  I made all the snacks and did the grocery shopping Saturday night til 11PM

I have 2 home shows this week with Cookie lee jewelry

Saturday IS MY BIG day.  I Started finding locations to hold “Saturday Boutiques” at where I invite lots of vendors (like a farmers market) to come and sell their wares.  It’s been a long fun task getting a big unique group together without getting duplicate vendors in.  http://saturdayboutiques.blogspot.com  it will be the day before Valentines and we have advertised like mad in the media online and thru emails and paper fliers.

I have to run. I need to get a piece of jewelry to a customer then to POSH to pull out of the store with Zach and Aurora

Utterly Exhausted- even after a nap day and no business but Superbowl party hostess. Sure wish Aurora would go back to sleeping thru the night. NO MORE CHOCOLATE MILK for you baby(almost3) before bed. Mommy needs SOME sleep-So does Daddy. 1st big noticeable BAG appeared under my eye yesterday. I looked OLD!

So Long

Yes it has been Sooo Long since my last journal entry.

I have been busy.

Hailey and Sierra were out of school for 1 month and a week. We had Christmas, Science Fair that daddy worked really hard with Hailey on to show Magnetic Shielding.  She won 1st place there were all the 5ht graders in the school I want to say 150-200 students  7 won firts place and there were 10 1st place runners up she was the 1st closest to getting a medal in the 1st place category, she got a large Blue ribbon with 1st place on it.  we were thrilled!  They really did a good job, I just helpes with trips to SLC to get petree dishes magnets, magnetic iron filings from fuzzy face toys, and the display is what I helped with.  it took a long time to get it all together.

I have taken the kids to SLC to the Zoo, on the Fast Train to go see The Frog Princess with Aaron Alice and cousin Ethan, We have been to Chuck E Cheese, To the Airplane Museum learning center, many times to Arctic Circle, Carls je and Mc Donalds Playlands, We have had a large snow hill in our cul-du-sac for a month now and the kids have enjoyed sliding down it. For new years we had sparking cider blasetd off some fireworks and party poppers and watches fireworks on their animal crossing nintendo game – a highlight ;o) We have been to a boutique to buy toy realistic cats that look like they are sleeping but breathing. My kind of pet! We went Christmas Caroling, Did our Lego Advent Calendar, we have been plaing with our christmas toys, claning up christmas and putting it away, nathan took down all the lights :( I was sad to see them go i love christmas lights they make the dark winter nights more interesting to look at and reminds me of the Savior.  Wish everyone could keep them up all year. We also Went With Aunt Alice and Aunt Suzie to The Gale Center South Jordan History Museum. Made Crystals from the Planetarium Store, Planted Cat Grass, Went Shopping for Webkinz online pet toys that you keepp a stuffed animal of. and MORE!

With my business endevours I have started buying tutus, pettiskirts, butterfly wings, wands, hair clips and more.  I have been putting them in one of the boutiques I sell in.  I still sell Baptizm Dresses for LDS girls, flower girl dresses, Melissa and Doug Wooden Toys and Puzzles(not doing so well moving that inventory) I’m Still selling Squeaky shoes I had been waiting for almost a month for my shipment it came in a few days before Christmas so business with those has been slower than i would have liked, but they still sell slowly.  i think i have sold more out of the house than at the boutiques in the past month ;o)

I’m starting up “Saturday Boutiques”  there is an English lady that runs one of the boutiques and cannot get enough vendors int hat will pay rental spaces, i’ve told her i would try to help her get things rolling in the mantime we are going to try to get home show and unique crafters into and empty bank in front of the boutique every saturday to help her pay her rent (same landlord)  I have a lot of interested vendors we just have to hammer out the legalities with it.  And hoping that by mid March We will have loads of New vendors at the B&M boutique that will pay the rent and keep her in business.  We have some re arranging painting and filling up to do before that but so far i have recruited about 4 new vendors this week and working on more!

I did a  Bridal Show with my Cookie lee Jewelry last Saturday Joe and Suzie are Marketing their Floral Preservation Business at them there.  It costs $400 for the booth I made $490 back spent 60 on babysitters and 425 to Sierra who came with me and helped me set up sell and look cute! she was awesome, I had 4 show bookings and did a Home show on Wednesday tht pulled in another $250.00  have another kinda sorta 2 bookings too so I’m hoping the home shows will be profitable from the amount i spent, so far so good, I’m going to be a vendor in the one in April at the really big expo center  It’s not cheap, and if it brings in show booking that could be great!  I’m really doing it as a hobby, it’s fun, and if Nathan would let me pay for things I would happily help out.

I also took the kids to Boise for a quick overnighter as their cousin Hanna was baptized.

Aurora is as buzy as a bumble bee I cannot get her to stop she keeps us so busy.

Parent Teacher Conf. Report

Filed under: Hailey, SICK, Sierra, Uncategorized, aurora — Devanie @ 3:34 pm

Hailey is missing 1 of 2 book reports.  Has some pretty good grades and butchered the State capitols test (which makes me upset because since she was 3 we have been giving underdogs on the swings for giving the right answer to the state capitol.  I didn’t see how bad it was but her grade is based on 1-2-3 and she got a 2 and this morning she told me she even re-took the test.  Guess that’s what we get when she doesn’t tell us what she needs to be working on in school. . .We could have mastered that if she would have sat and studied with us. We ask her everyday EVERYDAY what she needs to be doing for homework and it’s always the same – reading.  Which she also gets in trouble for at school ,she reads because she is addicted and cannot help but sneak it into her desk and read while the teacher is teaching.  But she has read Harry potter 1-6 since July 20 when they started school again.  and her reading vocab and comprehension are all 3’s

Sierra’s teacher loves he her bouncy personality and she says she is a good student!  She’s friendly, very helpful, reads well, needs to work on reading more at home, She’s mastered timed math facts in addition, subtraction and multiplication 0,1,2 so we are working on those.  She’s cruising along there. She’s reading the 1st Harry Potter book, which is farther ahead than all but 1 kid in her class. he’s on book 2.  She loves the PONY PALS book series and writes cute books about dogs and horses.  The teacher gave her a lot of 3s couple 2.75s.

Schools out Friday.  They get about 5 weeks off.  we plan to got to the B&B Circus, travel to Missouri on the 25th pending approval from my doctor, and back.

Friday I go to Time out for Women with a bunch of Ladies in the family! =)

Aurora has an ear infection (we see the doc today)  I get my 2 week post op today too.

The yellow roses are STILL ALIVE!

Hailey Turns 10

Filed under: Hailey — Tags: , — Devanie @ 11:32 pm

Hailey, another birthday and you’re a year older. Your father and I wanted to capture some important things that happened this year so we don’t forget them!  Here are some fun and important things to remember from the past year…

  • You danced in the Irish Day parade in Salt Lake City with your sister
  • You have read over 100 books this year
  • Your favorite books are Fablehaven, Leven Thumps and The Eyes of Want, and Little House on the Prairie
  • You got baptized and confirmed
  • You finally started riding your bike without training wheels!
  • You ran a 5K race
  • You were the only one in school that got a T-shirt for having a birthday on the same day as the Fablehaven book release
  • You got your own laptop this year, and lost it, and got it back, and lost it, and got it back again
  • You’re very quiet and don’t say much; you prefer to read a book quietly
  • You and your sister are inseparable
  • You planted a garden
  • You were accepted to a school for the talented after receiving extraordinary marks on their entrance test; but we did not want to have you and your sister in separate schools
  • You still love Pokemon, but the Littlest Pet Shop is now squeezing that out of your life
  • You have a fantastic imagination, and frequently write long stories at school (sometimes TOO long)
  • You received a candy award at a school drawing because your read so many books

You are very special to us, and our family would be incomplete without you! You are unique in our family, and we are very proud of who you are!

Irish Dancers

Filed under: Hailey, Irish Dance, Kids, Sierra — Devanie @ 11:38 pm

Well, somehow I managed to keep the girls in Irish Dance.  They have mentioned for about a month that they want to quit.  But I was persistent and the last class they went to they actually REALLY enjoyed because they had an Irish game after it.  Then, Saturday came and they got to go to a Mock Competition – a Mock Feis(Fesh)  I got to get them all dresses up in their $300+ costumes (inc. wigs, shoes, dresses, headbands, socks) YEAH!!! we got to use them again!

Aren’t they Darling???

Sierra didn’t want to wear her wig, so she woke me up at 6:30 AM so I could curl her hair.  it took 1 hour exactly and we only got slightly burned about 5-6 times ;) (we had to be at the Feis at 8:15 am and with 4 little ones, fancy costumes, no husbands around that was quite the Olympic Event!!!

They did 4 dances and we hadn’t really eaten breakfast so all I hear when I went backstatge was – I danced really bad becasue I was SOOO HUNGRY!(Sierra)  So I ran to the car and grabbed a fiber one cereal bar and split it in 1/2 for the girls, still not good enough especially since there were mounds of food sitting on tables for the LUNCH BBQ they were going to have3 1/2 hours after the dancers were to arrive.

It started to gap between their performances and since it was a MOCK Feis I decided to pull them out – not to mention Aurora in her squeaky shoes Darting across the stage where the dancers were performing for the judges, and I had to CHASE after her!!!  How embarrassing! (it’s been a long time since I have been so embarrased I can’t even remember the last (that’s just my retarded memory ~ I can’t remember much of anything).

We will know next week what the judges have to say to help my little dancers, they should have some positive critique on it.  I do have videos but never can get them to download-upload or whatever off my camera – Nathan is the genius on that and I’m without him for 2 WEEKS!

Easter 2009

Filed under: Hailey, Kids, Sierra, Tradition, Traditions, Uncategorized, Zach, aurora — Devanie @ 9:05 pm

Thursday we made a YUMMY YUMMY egg shaped cake with yellow/orange jelly filling.  Sierra helped to decorate it.

Friday afternoon we dyed eggs and put candy in over 100 eggs for the hunts we were to go on over the weekend.

Friday we went to The Pie Pizza place – one of my Favorites!  We went with Uncle, Aaron Aunt Alice and Ethan.  We took the cake with us and shared it with their family after playing outside with their dog Max for a long time.

Saturday we were up bright and early, packed up the chicks and went to Uncle Mikes for their Egg Hunt.  It was a blast, the kids all go so much stuff!  Then Daddy went to work with Grandpa and I took the kids and thier chicks to play at their cousins house.  They watched Madagascar 2, and we went out to McDonalds to play and eat.  Then we went back to help boil and dye Easter eggs.  we got the boiling part done when Daddy was ready to go home. So we packed up and headed out to pick him up.

Sunday Morning the Easter bunny had come, leaving, bath roll on paints, candy, and an egg hunt that was little in the living room. and the Easter Bunny left a poopy raisin trail from the living room out the front door and to the lawn.

We managed to have Creamed Eggs for breakfast and still got all cutsie and ready to go to Church.  It was REALLY nap time for Aurora and Zach so Daddy had to take them home for naps.

Sunday Evening was Dinner at Uncle Joe’s with a Ton of family and even some of their friends.  Good thing I made Deviled Eggs and them More while I was there, We all brought it pot luck style and there was just enough food for them all.  he kids had the BIG egg hunt where they scoured play sets, gardens, picnic tables, a pond and more to get their basket full of goodies.  Hailey was in her dress coming down the rock climbing wall on the back of the play set, her shoe snagged her dress and she FELL spilling her basket and falling to the ground.  She was OK.  Aurora danced and danced for everyone – such a cutie and when she dances she really shakes her tush.

went home went to bed. the end.

Holiday Festivities

Filed under: Christmas, Hailey, Kids, Personalities, Seasons, Sierra, Traditions, Zach, aurora — Devanie @ 11:18 am

Last night Nathan took us all out to  a lovley evening adventure.

 We drove to Thanksgiving Point to see the “Holiday Lights” there.

There are a few options of ways to get thru the lights.  There’s your car, the trolley, a hayride – horse pulled, or a horse drawn carriage.

Since it’s probably our 1 big activity for the year, we were there early enough that our whole family could go in the Horse Drawn Carriage.  It was GREAT

Hailey bundled up in blankets and told Nathan and I what was coming up before we passed it (we were riding backwards, but that didn’t matter because all the light items were visible from both sides).

Sierra grabbed a blanket and was invited to the seat with the driver of the carriage and often got to lead the horse (Belgian) named Annie on the path thru the tall lighted arches, sculptures, scenery, skiers, snowmen, deer, waving Santa, and so on

Zach even with his coat hood strapped over his mouth was tossing out phrases left and right.  he was loving the whole thing.  At one pont there were 2 elves (in lights) building a doll house and he yelled out “They’re building a Castle”

Aurora spent the first part waving with her right hand fanatically at the Santa Clause lighted arch with waving and the words HO HO HO blinking.  It was like she was in a parade and she felt the need to continue to wave off and on throughout the journey.  She called Santa “Shanah”.  She’s repeating most words we say now.  Later she was standing on my lap trying to get the whole 360* view.

We loaded off the beautiful horse drawn carriage and petted the horsey for a while.  The kids LOVED it!  Then Daddy drove us to our nearest Krispy Kreme doughnut shop where we all went in for the doughnut making adventure and had our free HOT doughnut.  Nathan picked up a dozen and we headed home in time for bed.

I had spent the day wrapping Christmas presents and left them on the couch so the kids could help put the present under the tree – for baby’s sake, so they could see that they belong under the tree – not just presents they can take out and open up anytime – like Zach did the 1st night I tried.

So now the girls are all excited about what they might be getting for Christmas.  And This morning I didn’t wake to the sound of paper being torn of gifts like Zach did to Uncle LeeJoes presents ;)

No camera these memories are ones we will just keep in our minds. – or for my forgetful mind – this memory will be blogged and then written on our yearly ornament as things we did for the holiday season 2008.

FISHING???

Filed under: Fishing, Hailey, Kids, Pictures, Sierra, Something Great, Tips — Devanie @ 1:21 pm

I’da never thunk it.

I purchased a fishing rod for Sierra the summer after we moved into our new house (2 years ago)

That later sparked Hailey’s interest and she too got a fishing pole.  I think we went once as a family just to practice casting the “Barbie” fishing pole strings, they even had plastic practice fish attached to them.  We got some bait and hooks and tried them out too.

Late last year Sierra’s class went to the local Nature Park with the fishing pond and I sent her to school with the rod.   She came home excited about fishing.  Hailey’s pole was broken by this point.

I took the kids to the park on Monday with their fishing rod.  I just wanted top put the babies in the stroller and spend the day at the park-outsideof t the house and get excersize  while the girls rode bikes around.  That is NOT what happened.  The girls stopped and immediately parked their bikes – and tukas by the sideof the pond and started casting their line.  They moved from one side of the pond to the other.  Leaving me to chase the babies and save them from trying to walk into the water.  So I did what I’d hope any of my friends would do for me, and invited them to come hang out at the park with them.  I called Kathy since she homeschools and told her I would be at the park feeding the ducks and watching the girls fish.  It was about 9:30 AM

Kathy W. showed up with her 3 boys she homeschools – when they hit Middle school/Jr High they immediately go to Public school (which is what I would do – too) So her t older girls couldn’t come.  She arrived at 10:00.  The kids all played on the rocks, fed the ducks, ran around, rode trikes, bikes, tried to skip rocks etc.  Aurora was fussy for bed at her usual 11:00.  I ran her home to see if she could sleep while Nathan worked – Oh how I love his job!  He was OK with letting her stay to sleep so I dropped her off and picked up my $1 store baseball field bases, a couple kid bats and balls and a beach ball.

Back at the park Kathy cared for Hailey and Sierra and we showed up with fun stuff for the boys to play with.

Zach has been bringing me baseball bats lately and wants to play baseball so I’ll toss him a crumbled up piece of paper and let him swing in the house.

All the kids had so much fun joining in a game of Kickball and Baseball.  Kathy’s little Joseph played on the sidelines while Kathy tossed him the ball.  Sierra(a social butterfly and all) was the worst – and she’s in public school.  I’m sure I looked like a crappy Mom because I had a pouting kid (7 year old) when she didn’t get what she wanted – her turn all the time.  Well I cannot be blamed.  I’ve tried putting her in sports and making her take turns.  She has been spoiled at home with things she wants but we are pulling back on a lot of that.  She did get in a play a bit, and turned back to her fishing rod and played and played a long time.  at this point Zach was getting pretty sleepy and just wanted to sit at home on the recliner and watch TV till he falls asleep.  But he decided sitting in the stroller and waiting would be good enough because it would mean that we would be going soon.

We didn’t go.  YET.  Hailey and Sierra were still having so much fun.  Kathy and I talked and talked.  and at 12:00 Kathy packed up and left.  I spent the last 1/2 hr letting the girls fish and trying to tech them that they needed to just let the pols stay in the water – This was WITHOUT bait or anything worth a fishes time.  Zach started dozing off in the stroller, Sierra got to help a fisherman reel in his fish, and we borrowed a piece of bait for the girls to continue to try fishing with. Oh I never did mention we used Cheerios’s for bait ;)

It was quite peaceful.

Tuesday was shopping day.  I took them all to the mall, to the playplace, to Gymboree for clothes for Aurora – she’s OUT of pants.  Over to K-Mart for a present for Daddy – not there – the girls bought bait though and enjoyed hanging out in the fishing section looking at all the possibilities and walked out with pink and hot pink worms that smelled like processed cheese and 2 hooks that hat hot pink fishies on them, over to the pet store parking lot where a couple was trying to sell their litter of 8 pit bulls, vacuumed the vans rugs, Irish Dance practice – (when I went shopping at Walmart for the older girls for Christmas), and home for tacos.

Wednesday – It was – Off to Walmart for a new fishing rod for Hailey (with her own money) We picked up McDonald’s for a picnic, dropped the milk off at home and headed back to the Fishing park with our blanket, lunch, tackle box, and 4 kids.  This time Aurora was up with us until 1:30 and I took them all home so I could drop her off for her nap.  Then it was just Zach and the older 2.  Zach and I played baseball for a bit, ate apples, watched the girls, helped them tie hooks onto rods, and Zach would tromp across the bank and once in a while through the water in his tennis-shoes.  He got sleepy at 2 and wanted to go home ant watch TV in his recliner with his sippy cup – Nathan was OK with that too. SO I was baby-free and Hailey and Sierra had all my attention so we baited, asked other fishermen questions about how to catch the trout in our pond, what kind of bait to use, what flies, what time of day etc.  We got a load of information.  The kids went to the other side of the pond and watched a guy catch 2 in a row!  I slowly followed and told them they had to watch him try to take the hook out of the fishes mouth because they would have to do that if they caught a fish – I try to gross them out bu telling them they will have to chop off the fish head and gut it and de-bone it.  They still choose to fish.  Sierra wants to eat or sell  her fish.  It has been quite nice and restful.  I can see why it’s a hobby for so many -men especially.  Getting away from the workplace and just sitting with hope.  All with HOPE.  There were probably 20 out there yesterday afternoon, it was 50* and felt very warm.

So that’s out start in the fishing world.  I just need to get Tammy to cook them up for us since she’s into that sort of thing and have her come fish with us sometime ;)

Lazy Day’s of. . .

Filed under: Gardening, Hailey, Homework, Kids, Movies — Devanie @ 4:07 am

Off track – no school.

My buddy Kathy W came over and we chatted all morning.  She taught me things and I taught her things.  I love visits like that where I feel we are both getting more out of our interactions than we can possibly remember in 4 hours.

I showed her my list of meals I can read thru if I don’t know what to make for dinner. – I fed her leftover maple pork from the crock pot.

She taught me about Home Schooling – which I really want to do now.  Nathan doesn’t.  I even printed out the Exempt from school forms so I could have them ready.  Maybe I’ll just do it off-track months.  I have to get some of the books (Christmas Wish List item for me now) 1st. . . A Beka  Brand 4 subject K-4 “4 Easy Subjects” Math, English, Science and History.  I’ll bee meeting up with my cousin, Shane’s wife, Jessica soon and rattle her with all the questions I can muster about her homeschooling tactics.  It’s 2 hrs a day, then they can study, run to the library, surf the web, read good books, and play.  they way they learn at school thru Aurthur  cartoon TV shows, mean teachers that don’t help them learn to be responsible, stories that come home like telephone game and end up wasting our time and changing how our kids views of Halloween for heaven’s sake!, HOMEWORK, and they sit at school scribbling on workbooks all day and that really only teaches the kids to hate school.  Plus, I want a better relationship with my kids.  I want more 1 on 1 time with important interaction – besides cooking, cleaning, couponing, selling, baking to teach them how to make all the fatty good food we eat.  They seem to be OFF Track ALL the time. . .guess it’s a perfect place to start!

Plus I can learn a LOT too!  Like where to put my commas,.  I learned in High School from Mr, Feren, that you put your commas, where you want to take a breath, , , , , , , ,

Oh and I just learned from Hailey and Aunt Suzie on Sunday that the vowel “sometimes Y” are in the words, Why, Cry, Fly.  I NEVER knew that because I was NEVER TAUGHT that!  I just knew “and sometimes y” , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Oh,! Mr, Feren, , , ,!!!!

You make the whole world hate reading my blogs, because, I sound like under-educated dumbass.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OH, THE LAZY DAYS OF. . . . . Off-Track continued:
Hailey and Sierra played the game board game, “Sorry” today.  All by themselves, they are at that age 8+, that almost EVERY game board has on the upper right hand corner!
I also let them play their Nintendo DS’sall day with a few interruptions to eat, help the babies stop their fight, and that’s about it.
I pulled together a “Ghostbusters” movie party at 4:00.  Popped the corn, watched most of the show and the babies stayed to watch it too.  I think I was on eBay looking for ABeka school books and working on dinner during the part of the movie I missed.
We sat to dinner I made baked potatoes (cheese sour cream and butter), sliced up oranges and drank root beer (better than cold cereal-spaghettios-ramen-and nuggets?).
For some reason Sierra decided she wanted to learn to chop fast like the people on TV do.  SoI whipped out a cutting board, the right knife and a banana.  The girls took turns.  They made Banana-Orange Fruit Salad ;) FAST!
Hailey kept pelting us with information about GARDENING – the “Thing she has decided is going to be the 1 that she is BETTER than anyone at”.  We had a talk with Daddy last week (who was better than ANYONE at computers at her age and in the 4th grade started teaching the teachers how to use them and teaching classes to students) – about finding that 1 thing and working on it.  She asked what my favorite food that is grown was.  She said she would like to plant and grow it for me.  I told her it was strawberries, and we already have some growing.  She asked about growing a banana tree.  Guess she still has a lot more to learn  about the weather in Utah ;) .  Maybe SHE will prove us all wrong.   She also told me that she wanted to grow a crab apple tree because they look like the easiest to grow – my lack of knowledge on crab apple trees was telling me that I should tell her that you wouldn’t want to eat crab apples.  Maybe I”m wrong – but I’m not going to look it up – I’ll let her PROVE me wrong – or right  on that one as well.
We read Chapter 10 the BEST chapter in the “Christmas Jars” book so far, because it tells where the jar comes from.
I got a call from my Mama today and I told her about my cancelled plans to NV.  But I also got a call today from my brother LeeJoe and what would you know. . .he’s going to be staying with us 4 days next week (to sleep) so he can do some work nearby!  that will work out just fine for me :)
it’s 12:35 AM, I think Zach is up, gotta run
