Just got back from a FUN trip to Boise to see My Brothers family. Spent 4 days there the girls did relly well in the car even without a TV =) We are heading out to California to see my sister and her family (4 girls) for the day(4 hr drive) then we are cming back to Nevada and tomorrow we will have a pizza party at My moms New house. Leave for Kansas Wednesday!! Having A Blast!!!

Missing You all Much!!!
We had a BLAST today though. Went to Circus Circus in Reno just me and the girls while my Mom did some work for her job. We got to see 2 circus acts Dogs doing tricks and a tight rope walker juggling and riding a unicycle. We won 8 stuffed animal toys pretty quickly and the girls loved it!!!! We also rode the Shuttle from the Casino to the hotel and back. It’s on the second level so when you look out you are looking down at the streets. It was pretty fun. The Grandma Lay picked us up and we headed out to Carls Jr for lunch(none in CT so I have to get my time in the west.) Headed over to my brothers house Uncle Thomas and got to walk around the duck pond behind his condo. There were huge fish in the bottom and a ton of them and a bunch of geese and ducks. The girls loved being around Thomas. He’s pretty entertaining. The girls didn’t have a nap today. We kept them pretty busy, by dinner we ordered On The Border Chicken Fajita Quesos to go (yum, my parents needed to try this appetizer) and packed up to go back to Carson City (30 min). Sierra Zonked out at 6:00. Watched the movie the R.M. with my mom. She loved it! it was funny but since I don’t laugh as easily as my Mom I just enjoyed listening to her comments and laughter over the movie.
Yesterday we got Sun Kissed it hit 82* (tied with last record high for March 19th)we took a long walk from Grandma Lays to the Hospital I was born in and back. The we went to Sunrise Park with Grandma and got bored then went to Mills park – one I remember as a kid.
I’ll post pictures when I get back and can upload them for now, just journaling.

Just Hanging around in Nevada with my mom and Dad and trying to fix up their FIXER Upper of a house. . .What a MESS! But we have been having fun and kkeping busy. Easter Egg Hunt on Tuesday a trip to Reno with my friend Amanda and Mudding walls at Grams. Love you all!

Procrastinating. . .
That’s what I was doing when I snapped some pictures of the Snowy Day. Good thing I didn’t work too hard on my lesson. . .Enrichment Night was cancelled Due to Snow. It’s been Snowing/Flurrying all day some thick, some thin, some wet, some big and fat and some slippery. So my 8-9 ideas all printed out for the “Idea Table” will have to wait. And our recipe collection may be better because more people will be informed about it.
I taught Joy School (preschool mom to 4 kids), as you can see (my house does get messy!!) They all pitched in to help clean things up in record time!!! The kids are learning about how nice it is to have friends and how important all the people around us are. And to listen to their parents (We are struggling with the girls on that. . .Mostly Sierra I hope she will figure it out soon). They Have very selective hearing. One day they were playing so well together and I asked them if they wanted to talkt o Grandma Lay. . .There was NO answer. A few times. Then I told Grandma Lay over the phone They don’t even listen to me when I said, THEY CAN HAVE SOME ICE CREAM they still didn’t even hear that. Their hearing checked out well at the Dr’s office. I only get responses from them when I SCREAM or SCREAM ANGRILY since it’s taken many askings (nicely) to get them to hear me. I hate screaming there shouldn’t ever be a time to scream at your children. But why is it the only way they listen? Well sometimes holding my fingers up with 1 finger, then 2 then slowly 3 gets them moving but, that’s going to fade too.
By the way about the Dr. visit. . .Hailey is in the 10th % for Weight and 5th % for Height 33lbs 38 inches. And Sierra is about 50% 30 lbs and 34 inches.
Anyhow, Glad to have the chance to get this post in today.

Manic Monday!!!!
I don’t know what I even have time to write today. . This is what’s going on. . .I took the girls to the Dr for their Physicals, hearing, eyes, Shots and Make-up shots. . .Total shots =7 Finger pricks for blood =1
Sierra 4 shots Hailey 3 shot and a Prick. Hailey was so strong. The pick and 1st 2 shots were OK the shots made her cringe and jump quickly but the 3rd shot hurt! She cried on that one. Then Sierra turn she heard she was going to get shots and I had her excited for the Bandaids after, but when it came time, she flopped out her bottom lip and said, “I don’t wanna shot” and the tears rolled. Poor girls. Hailey was calmed a few seconds after seeing the suckers, but Sierra Still cried if she thought about them. The suckers helped a little but you can see the sadness on her face when she thought about what the Drs did to her. I now fear her Kindergarten shots hopefully she will forget but then (fat chance) But they are all caught up and they each got 4 suckers 4 stickers and 4 hello kitty bandaids. They had fun showing eachother their blue tongues.
They can hear, and see Hailey Did EXTREMELY well. Dr was amazed that she could even tell color tones like her pen wasn’t totally red it was “pinkish-red” and the Dr said She shouldn’t be worried about Kindergarten – Kindergarten should be worried about her. =)
Anyways I have to get the registration papers in SOON and hopefully I can register her since I’ll be out in Nevada the 15-31 and Kansas 31-4th right during registration. So I’ll try to get it in this week along with all the other things going on. I took the girls to playdate at Jens and met a new person.
Came home to eat lunch and get the girls ready for their nap for a while they played blocks and Sierra got into her Tutu again!! I wash it every couple days she wears it so much but she loves it and loves to dance, it’s easy for her to put on by herself, I won’t stop her from dancing and the tu tu keeps her dancing.
They are down so I’m taking a minute. Nathan came home for lunch and helped me out. I have a Big Night tomorrow with Church Enrichement Night. I’m teaching Home Organization and Toxins in the home (in 20 minutes). That will be VERY hard I have so much information to CRAM in. And I’m working on finding the best paperwork to give the sisters for the “Idea Table”. And I’m teaching Preschool this week. 2 HUGE lessons Tuesday and Thursday, along with Tae Kwon Do practice, Wednesday spending a couple hours at the Audi dealer while Nathans car gets ANOTHER checkup, Thursday night a visit from my Visiting teacher and Friday night a birthday Party for Noah with the Henrichsens. And I Pack for 3 to fly out to Nevada on the following Monday.
I have some major lesson planning to do. So I must go. If you don’t hear from me. You will know why.

Sunday full and Peaceful. . .
Nathan Blessed Jorge Andres at the church today. It was a really nice blessing and the baby will know he is loved by everyone and he will be healthy. He’s a cute baby. I forgot to snap a couple pictures of him at the church because they left early. We did meet up with them after church to take a Sunday drive to the house they are having built. The walls are in. The tubs are in, the fireplace is in but the yard and front porch still need some fixing up. We walked through the mud and my Prince charming had to come rescue me as my shoe Stuck in the mud and my foot slipped out, he rescued me with a baby wipe so I could clear the rust colored mush from ball of my foot that decided to keep walking even after the shoe was off. Anyways their house is very cute. It will be so nice for them to have a newly built home (I love mine!!) and their new baby. Having a new home feels so much cleaner than an older house or apartment. Anyways we came home had a big ole’ plate of Nachos (one of our favorite Sunday “luppers”) The girls had a nap free day early bedtime I guess. But they are being great friends playing in the blocks and cars while they dance to Yanni I tell about our day and Nathan gets to catch up on schoolwork (MBA) I can’t believe how peaceful things feel right now, the girls are working together, the music is nice, and I’m really happy(although I miss Nathan terribly when he has things to do). It’s been a really nice Sunday.
