THE GIRLS LEARN TOOOOOOO MUCH IN ONE DAY TO LIST EVERYTHING!!!!!

If I listed everything they learned in 1 day it would take me ALL day just like it takes them!! And it takes me 1 hour to write an entry like the one below and the one after that’s 1 hr less the girls, my husband or I get to enjoy! Maybe that’s why I only say what we did. Not what we learned, just imagine what they learned or. . .What I talked and talked and talked all day about and Taught and taught and taught all day about. It’s NEVER ENDING!

Some of the things we did learned today:
~Sierra and I collected worms after taking Hailey to the bus
~We collected 4 worms
~We added dandelions, leaves, grass and aeration dirt pellets to the container
~She brought them in the car to go to preschool
~She forgot to bring them in
~I went back to the car to get them and brought them to her, she shared them with the class
~She was excited
~We almost let them free on the school grass
~We decided to keep them
~Later we learned that Worms Die when left in a warm car on a warm day in a plastic container
~We visited Aunt Melanie for 3 hours
~Sierra learned that Mommy cuts other peoples hair
~She learned how to play Patty Cake (again)
~She learned how to play the fist song on the piano
~She learned that Mommy WOULD NOT give her anything if she doesn’t say please (I’m finally fed up with it)
~I taught her the Song Quack Quack Went the Little White Duck One Day
~She Learned more State Capitols Iowa, Maryland, Vermont, Oklahoma, Utah, California, Colorado, Nevada, Kansas, Louisiana, Idaho, Ohio and she had to repeat my sentence after I said it 3-5 times if she did it right she earned a sticker for her sticker chart (she soo needs that kid of reward system, she does sooo well with it)
Here is the sentence “The Capital of Vermont is Montpelier” and so on. She earned 5 stickers on the car ride home.
~She learned that you can Eat Candy Bubbles
~She learned that candy Bubbles don’t taste very good
~She listened to Hailey read her book about Stars and learned about stars galaxies and planets
~Hailey learned a bunch too. She’s always coming home with some new things that she learned that you just don’t think about all the time like all the shapes like a Sphere, cone, cylinder, cube, & pyramid oh and a tower shape =) She was trying very hard to explain a rectangle that’s tall and couldn’t remember the name of the shape (if it has one?) so I called it a tower that worked to her but she’s a smart cookie, she said What if it really is called a tower?
~Hailey Practiced the piano
~Hailey told me that the Universe has a lot of Galaxies
~They Painted with Watercolors
~While using their imaginations Hailey taught Sierra about her Left side.
~They Played Crane and used two claw grabbing hooks attached to each other to bend down the center of the loveseat to find each other.
~You can use Scotch tape to make Band-Aids for pretend Dr. imaginative play
~We Did NOT watch the TV today
~Sierra saw 20 Min of The little Mermaid on the way to Melanie’s house
~The know what primary colors
~Mom can answer questions while Blogging/Journaling
~Mom can Teach and Correct from the computer
~Mom hears everything and plays along even when she’s working
~If they say something inappropriate Mom tells them to stop
~A hand might turn Blue if you cut off the circulation
~Sometimes they need help opening Capri Suns
~It’s nice to have a clean house for visitors so we get ready a day early if we can.
~When they are going to paint we need to push back the table cloth, use a plastic place mat and ask mom nicely for water.
~If Mom gives a chance to put socks on before going out the door and they choose not to after 10 min or so we will leave without the socks on
~If they want their shoes on after that, they have to the count of 5 before they have to walk barefoot to the car. Usually they have their shoes on (this was Sierra leaving Mel’s house)
~Whining doesn’t get you anything but a grumpy adult that doesn’t want to do things for them
~Asking nicely usually gets you what you want
~Mom’s arms get sore after spinning a rocking chair for 15 minutes

45 minutes later the days still not over and I haven’t blogged EVERYTHING they have learned. See what I mean? Started and 5:40 finished at 6:20 after spell checking.

4-your Enjoyment!

If I do pictures that will take another 20 minutes

Tons of Pictures coming

We went swimming the 1st day. Sierra saw a little boy swimming and figured she could do it too. She’s(4 never had a lesson) and as she stepped of that last step I said, “Sierra you can’t Swim!” I ran in after her and helped her out. She was a little shaken but went right back in with the floatie I had been blowing up.

After the pool we took a trip to Hershey’s Chocolate World. We joined 4 other adults and a total of 11 kids. We went on the tour ride 2 times that day, shopped the shops went to the 3D movie the water squirting made Hailey cry. She didn’t seem to enjoy the show until the bubbles and streamers came out. Then we stopped to have a snack and do more shopping. I left Sierra with the adults at the table and about 5 minutes later I was searching frantically for a 4 year old with red hair and pink clothes on. They found her quickly but she had wondered outside the building to the Stroller parking and hid by our stroller so strangers couldn’t get her. (we weren’t allowed to bring our stroller in, if I had been able to, that would have NEVER happened! We went on to enjoy a trolley Ride around Hershey, PA got samples of many of the normal hersheys candies and at the end we got a large bar. I had a stranger snap the picture at the trolley.

Then we had a picnic at the hotel park with everyone and headed back to the pool.

The next morning it was time to check out of the hotel and head over to the Crayola factory, but before we were headed out we went to Dennys and get gas and I needed my CC and I LOST my CC. I figure the trolley Cashier forgot to give it back to me SO that was and extra 1/2 hr time wasted. Nathan cancelled the card and I used the higher interest rate card the rest of the trip.

We got to the Crayola Factory at 1:40 had a bunch of fun but thought we had until 5 or 6 to play but they closed at 4 and we shopped at the store that was open until 5. All my friends headed back home and I headed to my Uncles in WV a 3 1/2 hr ride through Gettysburg. We went through 7 states on our spring break. Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia.

We arrived at 8:45 and I got to visit and put the girls to bed.

I took it pretty easy Wed, Thurs and Fri. I went Shopping a couple times for Shoes, groceries since they double coupons there and have some better prices than here. I got $89.00 in groceries for $32.00 and that was for necessities to bring home with me those are my kind of souvenirs!!!! =) I got Toilet paper from Vest Virginia! Wooo Hooo!

I got a nap one day, babysat my Aunts kids, she babysat for me, We went and had out Brakes and rotors replaced on Thursday I was getting worried about how shaky my brakes were, so there went another $350.00. We went for a Long walk with the kids 2 1/2 hrs. While we were out we picked Cherry Blossoms off a tree they were soooooo pretty I wish I had taken my camera the girls had them lining their hair and it was angelic. I got 2 maternity shirts and a skirt at Target Clearance section. There was a skirt I really wanted but it’s $22.00 and after a trip like that there’s no money for any extras.

Friday Night I visited my Uncle Verl and Aunt Brenda and they bought us pizza. I spent 4 hrs with them and the girls had a blast with Rachel and Lauren. I got a picture of them.

I took the girls to a playground at Taco bell on a rainy day and snapped the cute slide pictures. Sierras pants showed a little skin and she kept coming down the slide backwards, It was too funny so I had to run to the car and take pictures. (If this is offensive to anyone I apologize).

Saturday morning Started out with another trip to the Brake shop because my car was shimmying and it hadn’t done that before they changed the brakes, so luckily I got my tires Balanced for FREE. But that bumped my departure time back a few hours. We said our goodbyes and I packed up about 1 hr later we ended up at the Boyds Bear Country Store. It was huge! Having little money I still figured we couldn’t leave such a big store without getting the girls each a little bear so just under $13.00 later the girls were very happy with their selections. Hailey’s was from the nursery section with a squeaky tummy and Sierra’s is a classic brown bear.

We were on out way back to the Hershey factory when all of the sudden we were smack dab in the middle of Gettysburg. Hailey kept pointing out the “Cannon Balls” and the Statues. So I slowed as we looked at the cannons and the rocks with brass statues on them. As we drove thorough the town there were Soldiers shooting guns into the air so I decided to pull over so we could watch. Sierra didn’t like that one bit! She thought they were going to shoot us I snapped a couple pictures, they didn’t like the noise!

We made it back to the Hershey Factory another 1 hr Sierra fell asleep on the way so her picture there wasn’t the best one ever.

We rode the free ride 2 more times, shopped in the store went to the Kit Kat Cafe to meet characters, and went through as Factory workers and packed their own Hershey kisses. We found out that this event was FREE you just had the option of paying for the kisses for $5 and a picture for another $5 We chose not to do either and I got some good pictures out of it.

We hopped in the car for the 4 hour stretch home. Made 1 stop to pee and throw up in New York and made it home late in the evening. I was POOPED! And home felt SOOOOOOO good!

It was a fun vacation!

Sorry it’s been so long. After the UTI I had NO energy to blog. I have been busy lately and when I get a chance I try to get some sleep(not journal). So here are a few things that have happened or will happen:

ULTRASOUND #3 Turned out great we have legs and arms and I even got to see the little one cross it’s legs. I got to see the little feet and probably could have counted all 10 toes but was so excited that He/She still had a heartbeat and toes so it really didn’t matter at the moment. Those toes were so clear.

PRIMARY ACTIVITY was fun for the girls I helped teach a class on Modesty while the girls went around learning about taking care of their bodies, the exercised in the gym, Had a healthy snack, learned about cleanliness and washing hands, learned to dress modestly and had fun dressing up in all the fun clothes laid out, and used their senses to tell the difference between 3 different yellow jellybellys, felt items in a dark box, smelled different things(dark box), and tried to tell which music they liked better when listening. They had a great time.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT at the school was a welcomed treat! The girls wore themselves out running around with a bunch of other kids. We also played Pretty Pretty Princess with some of the girls that came to our table, they had snacks and also got to have and Ice Cream Sundae. It was nice to see some of my friends there. I got compliments Left and right and that’s just what I needed. On lady I saw at a babyshower was SHOCKED to see me there. She didn’t know I had kids. She came up to me, gave me a big hug and said, “I was wondering if I’d ever see you again. You made me laugh so hard at that babyshower you were so funny” That made my night. I was just telling Nathan he doesn’t see me out of the house on days like that when I have people to joke with. He sees me tired. Which makes me boring. He doesn’t see me running around Smiling from ear to ear when I’m saving $ with coupons or visiting with my friends. And I complain a lot. Poor guy. He needs someone to talk to and all I can think about is poor me, unheardofly tired, pregnant and chasing 2 kids all day. He’s got a lot going on too. During the Family Fun Night He was out doing his home teaching and didn’t get to hear a BIG compliment about Haileys reading. The “To Be” PTA president came up to me and told me that she’s shocked at how well Hailey reads and that the reads better than anybody she’s ever seen at Haileys age. She said a few of the words that amazed her. I was so proud. But most of that is Haileys doing. She’s always loved to sit and pay attention. So she just GET’S IT!

We still get OOOHhhhs and Aaahhhh’s all the time about how pretty the girls are. That always makes us feel good.

Sierra’s doing very well in PRESCHOOL. She LOVES to go and asks me all the time if she gets to go to school today. She gets so excited she practically gets dressed and in the car before I get out of bed in the morning. She hasn’t given me too much grief about BALLET lately and goes in pretty willingly even though it’s been the same routine since June (10 months) she’s top of her class in there.

Daddy bought PIKMIN2 for the Gamecube last weekend and the girls look forward to having Daddy come home and play so they can watch him. They all really enjoy it and can spend hours doing it. That is why I’m here right now. Daddy has all their attention, They ask a million questions and tell him what to do and he answers and goes along. It’s very cute. Yesterday he came home for lunch and Sierra thought he was home for good so she wanted him to play really badly. She’s addicted. Today at about 4:00 she couldn’t wait for after dinner and wanted to call Daddy so he could come home early and play for her. I made her wait.

It’s “Turn Off the TV Week” and this game had them addicted I’ll let them if it means I get to journal =)

PIANO LESSONS aren’t going as well as expected for Hailey it’s my fault I forget to have her practice. I should remind her that it’s up to her to remember to practice right after school. She does OK but could be a lot better.

FAMILY HOME EVENING was fun last Monday we played games, sang songs and went over what they learned at the Primary activity about Bodies and Modesty.

We had a nice FAMILY PICNIC on the back lawn last Sunday and our 2 bug wimps went inside about 1/2 way thru lunch. Meaning that Sierra and I enjoyed a little picnic with only a few little bugs. JUST wait until later this summer then there will be BUGS!!!

I’m planning a ROAD TRIP with 4 of my close friends and their kids for spring break to go to Hershey, PA, the Crayola Factory, PA and my Aunt and Uncles in West Virginia. I NEED A VACATION and Nathan needs a break from the Estrogen in the house. So I’m shipping myself out. He could come with if he wants to.

Chickys hatched at Aunt Shana’s today. Sierra got to take a trip with me to see them @ 9:45 and try to catch one hatching one started to peep out the egg but may take a while to come and may not make it. There were 2 little chickys when we got there Hero – the red and Lucky – the Black – he’s a spitfire and had to be moved out of the incubator for pecking so much at the little red one. So we snapped some pictures of the transfer.

The I headed to Hailey’s class and read stories to them at 3:00 and told them all about the chicks.

I’m tired for many reasons and it is WORSE than you think.

I have been UNBELIEVABLY tired lately.

I wanted to SLEEP ALLLLL day and FELT WORN DOWN. I was so tired I thought I was going to fall asleep taking Sierra to Preschool. I went to the K Mart Parking lot with the intention of falling asleep in the back of the car the whole 2 hours. When I got in the back seat and curled up to fall asleep I felt it was ridiculous so after about 5 minutes I just got up and went into the store and spent about 1 1/2 hrs walking around. Wishing I could just crash on the floor and wake up in time to pick Sierra up. I managed to stay awake. Then I headed straight home could barely make it thru Lunch and hoped Sierra would eat just a little faster so we could get on the couch and fall asleep ASAP. Finally she was done and down we went. From 12:15 to 3 with 3 calls to wake me up. I didn’t answer the 1st call then it rang again so I got up because it’s important if they call twice. Sure enough it was my Dr. Office telling me that one infection is gone but I now have UTI they called in the prescription and I went back to the couch fell asleep not long after I got a call from the Landscapers and had too long of a conversation with them. Crashed back on the couch 3rd nap. And woke up having a weird bad dream.

I wanted to stay asleep soo bad but Sierra was getting up, Hailey would be home in a few minutes and I got another call about then asking if I could Baby sit an additional 6 kids for a friend. I said yes, not realizing I was so tired from the UTI. I cooked Mac N cheese, Nathan’s out of town, the girls wanted to play outside in the nice weather and wanted their bikes from the basement, I cleaned the house for the busy night and then I tiredly dragged the girls to pick up my prescription. Took one in the Parking lot and at 9:27 the kidoos are getting ready for bed the clan just left and I pray that they sleep in tomorrow. The 6am mornings aren’t working for me.

I made a visit to my Dr. Office and was able to get another Ultrasound and A video so Nathan could see. I had a horrible night last night and started thinking the worst when it came to the baby. I was reassured by the Ultrasound and the tiny flickering heartbeat. Sierra watched and asked all the questions for me.

Nathan and I were watching America’s Funniest Home Videos the other night and one of the ones that won was when 2 boys found out their mom was Having a Girl. The youngest boy was Devistated. The other not too happy but could handle the news. So far since this pregnancy has been SOOOOO different from my girls I’m guessing it’s a boy, But given the Lay Genetics it’s most likely a girl. However Nathan told the girls last night that we are having a boy. and Sierra Didn’t like that one bit. (almost Identical Scenario to AFHV)We asked her if she would still love the boy and she said, “No”. She’s such a Girly Girl and desperate for a sister. However she’s very mothering and will soon forget her Girl wishes if it is a boy. Hailey was a more excited being that, that is what she wants us to have. We win either way, but will be surprised in about 10-12 weeks.

I got a lot done today.
