Yesterday we went on a road trip to Groton Submarine Base and Mystic Seaport.

Tuesday it was a local city tour and a trip to WalMart and Home Depot so my Dad can build the girls a picnic table. We may head over to an inexpensive clothing store and the Mall to cruise there while Grandpa works on the Picnic Table.

SATURDAY

BUSY DAY!!!
Started by getting Sierra to her Dance Recital dancing to “Splish Splash” It was a long wait she was ADORABLE I’m so glad my parents were able to see it!! She looked really cute and did EXTREMELY well compared to some of her classmates.

We all sat nervously hoping we wouldn’t miss Hailey’s Birthday party. We made it RIGHT on time!!!

She had a GREAT BUTTERFLY BIRTHDAY PARTY! We divided the kids into 3 teams and made them make a caccoon out of one of the people from each team with a roll of toilet paper. It went Quickly and they all had Fun. They each earned a butterfly shaped folding fan to put in their net as thier “Goody Bag” They ran around with Safari Hats and Butterfly nets Catching Bubbles (from 2 bubble machines) The kids also got Bubble Bottles with butterfly’s on them and whacked the Butterfly Pinata, then we ate Nathan’s Butterfly cake (Directions on Kraftfoods.com) YUM!! They Left with a Butterfly shaped Playdough and Candy from the pinata and they Drank Nectar Juice with their Cake. The adults seemed to be having a good time too.

After that just down the road was a Drum and Fife parade and my parents the girls and I watched a few songs there before heading back home to open gifts. THEY WERE ALL REALLLLLLY WONDERFUL and PERFECT for our little one.(THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THEM!!) It was really beneficial to have her WISHLIST on my website and a good idea they all say. She got everything from her wishlist and then some JUST PERFECT!!!

Then we gobbled down some leftovers the girls played with the art supplies from the birthday and soon we shipped them off to bed. I ran around cleaning up and later we Watched Galaxy Quest with my parents.

BUSY PERFECT DAY! Did I mention 89 Degrees and humid – The Party was in the shade and the breeze was perfect too!

!!!!COMPLETELY FLABBERGASTED!!!!!

Happy Birthday to me!

It Started with A wonderful breakfast of Belgium Waffles in Bed with a VERY sweet card, and it could have stopped there. I wasn’t allowed to do anything. On The Breakfast Tray was a New cel phone NOT just ANY cel phone – he bought me my OWN Treo Computer, Palm, Cel, Camera – Holy Mole! Now I’m a spoiled Rotten BRAT. Then before 8 AM he told me that I was headed off to A DAY OF PAMPERING AT THE SPA and had til 10:30 to get ready to go. He shipped Hailey off to school. I slowly got ready and He told me he had his sister coming to babysit and even dressed to go to work. – He actually never made it into work – He cleaned up the house and headed off for my next Surprise.

I spent the day at the Spa Relaxed in a comfy big bathrobe and Slippers all day while getting Pampered for over 5 hours with a Massage – Back Legs Arms Neck. Went to a beautiful room for Lunch where I was served a Fruit Platter with Yogurt and had some trail mix and almonds Then I rested on a A Chaise Lounge Chair for 10 min while I waited for the Facial. It was 1 hr it was relaxing, cleansing and Addicting!!! The Facial included a shoulder and arm and hand massage It was Bliss! Then I took a Steam Shower for the experiance of it.

After the shower I saw swept off to the Massaging Pedicure seat and spend 45-50 minutes getting my feet and legs pampered(even though it tickled) and ended up with Fuscia Bright Pink Toenails after she broke my chosen color and couldn’t find the replacement. I was also Padded with A hot pack on my neck and magazines to read. While I was on the chair they brought over a candle to wish me a happy birthday (Lavendar Vanilla scented)

Immidiately after I had a Manicure and enjoyed a Brown Sugar and Lemon Scrub on my hands another hand massage. I was again treated with hot hand mits which I had to remove because I was getting a bit overheated. The place was Georgeous and Tranquil! I dried my nails re-did my makeup and picked up the girls for a trip to the Olive Garden.

Our plans were to meet at the Olive Garden at 6 So I got there and got the table expecting he was in traffic 40 minutes later after I ordered the girls dinner and we had started munching breadsticks I was SHOCKED AGAIN!

I saw them coming from the parking lot Nathan had Picked up my Parents from the Airport and Surprised me for dinner. The Flew from Nevada and my Dad Has NEVER been out this way. They kept telling me they were only here for 1 week and finally told me they are staying for 3 weeks. I have been wanting them to come out for years and years! I’m so excited!!!

We came home gave the grand tour of the house and while we were in the backyard Nathan came walking around the house bearing Phantom of the Opera NYC Orchestra Seat Tickets. and had the sitter all set up.

~~~Happy Fathers Day!!~~~
~~~~~We Love You!!~~~~~

We served Breakfast in bed. Hailey made a couple cards one was all about hugs and kisses and gave a can of Hersheys Kisses. Sierra gave him 3 new shirts and a cookie with a card. And I put together some of these pictures in frames for him to bring to work and put in his wallet.

For Dinner I had Sierra Deliver a Fathers Day Dinner menu. It had about 5 entrees 3 side dishes, 6 drinks and 4 desserts to choose from. There were Check boxes by each item he got to pick out everything he wanted for dinner and Sierra brought the menu back for dinner preparation. She helped me cook it and set the table while Hailey watched him play his computer game with his brothers.

So He had:
Chicken Cordon Bleu with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Homemade Rolls, Peanut Butter with Apples, Strawberry Smoothie and although he did not have room for dessert he would have eaten Vanilla Ice Cream topped with Fresh Strawberries.
MMMM MMMMm mm Good!

I must admit Nathan is a better Daddy than I am – Thanks Hun! We love you!

My Feet Hurt.
I’m worn out.
I want to be a Hermit.
I need a nap.
My kids tug me in every direction.
Keeping up with the house is a chore.
Does anyone even appreciate it?

Even with a 1 hour nap it was a CRAZY BUSY DAY.

Hailey had “Field Day” at her school. I had to ask Nathan what “Field Day” is. . .I know my school of about 100 kids never had a “Field Day”. So they ran around obstacle courses and I of course brought along the camera to share the festivities. Hailey’s Team won the Clothing Race, the Running Race around the cones, and the Sponge Race – Where they Filled up a Bucket #2 of water from bucket #1 faster than any other team – Sierra Joined in that game. Sierra also got to play under the parachute.

After the Fun at the school I took Sierra to the park by the school. We stayed for a long time. She was even surprised about 1/2 way through and said “We are staying for a long time.” I guess I have not done that often enough because of some other think to run to. But we stayed and Sierra got to see a baby bunny munching on grass and blossoms for a while. I should have taken a picture but I don’t think the bunny would have stayed long enough and the grass was so tall he would look like a patch of dirt if you could see him.

To receive Under-Doggies on the swings my girls have for years had to tell me a state capitol when I mention a state. Sierra Learned a new one today – My tip for Minneapolis Minnesota was “Mini Apple iss” she’s got it learned now except sometimes she forgets the iss part and says “MiniApple” The highlight state capitol is the capitol of California, today she thought about it for a while putting her hands to her head and continued with “Home Depot” Which is quite funny because it Rhymes with Sacramento and it’s a place you go to.

We later ventured to the grocery store 1 hr shopping trip, the gas station, home for lunch and an ice cream cone.

Then Nathan(working from home) took a break and wanted me to watch some re-runs of Star Trek on the bed I could barely keep my eyes open and I napped while Sierra napped.

Hailey arrived home with arm fulls of things from school. A new bag – sand pail art stuff, snacks, a new notebook to journal in, and crayons and more – she’s very content with a paper and something to write with she could be doing anything right now and that’s what she chose to do. She’s writing about the planet Mercury and enjoying her ice cream cone.
