We are a very blessed family. I’m thankful for that and for My husbands diligence in working hard to provide a nice life for us.
All I can say now is that I’m VERY grateful and VERY happy!
And even though Hailey and Sierra are under the weather with fevers between 100 and 102 It makes me more grateful that it’s not anything worse. Some other symptoms include:
Sore throat – little red
Whiney voices
Sore stomachs – giving tums for that
Sierra gets Chills
and they look really tired
Dr. Says it’s the Virus that everyone is getting this summer. I’m not too worried about passing it on-since everyone’s going to get it. However I’m worried about them being out too much because it’s wearing them down. And if they are worn down it wears me down and if I’m worn down I wear Nathan down so we are all better of just Chilling for a while and that’s what we are doing.
The baby in me is growing well. He doesn’t seem to be as active as the girls were at this stage maybe he will be as peaceful and calm a baby as Hailey was. I am much bigger with this boy than I was with the girls. That’s a big difference I have seen with this pregnancy. And whether people believe it’s true or not I’m carrying my boy lower than I carried my girls. Instead of getting kicked in my sides, stomach and ribs he kicks my bladder. He especially likes to kick when I drink really cold drinks. They wake him up. We have 3 MO to go to figure out a name. I gave the kids in Nathan Sunday school class an assignment to help us figure out his name and if they picked a good one that we use they will get an extra treat from the goody box. =) They came up with Spencer.
We had Dinner last night with Grandpa for Aunt Melanie’s Birthday and passed out Disney Family Reunion Music CDs to all that were there. I plan to ship out ones for the rest of the family to get them excited about the trip. Everyone loves the music Nathan found and I think it’s great upbeat fun music to dance to & drive with. Hope it’s enjoyed by all.
We’re going to DISNEYWORLD!!! Nathan bought the airplane tickets today so it’s official. Turn up your speakers and enjoy the music!
We registered at www.BabyDepot.com (registry number is 6929619). Also registered at www.babiesrus.com. Look up Devanie. Thanks in advance!

There are people that need more than we do and my sister is one of them. If anyone feels the need to be charitable this time of year Molly her husband and 4 girls could use some money. We had a great turn out with support for Christmas and I asked that cash not be sent then but now I trust that it will be put to great use. Nathan just paid 1,900 toward her electricity (many issues)and I have sent out Ant Killer and Flea collars for her dog so the kids won’t get flea bites and ants won’t get into her sugar and all over her home. They are getting some very basic money about $300 for food from the state but for a family of 6 that’s not nearly enough. The Church helps sometimes. They were able with their tax return to get a DVD player for their car – they own 2 DVDs – one is Sponge Bob. So Cheap DVDs or doubles if you have an extra even one that isn’t being uses anymore would be helpful. I have loads of Hair holders I’m going to send the girls since they have 4 and they use them so much. Here is her address send what you can. And Thank You!
Checks payable to:
Molly Roberts
PO BOX 174

She is very grateful for anything! And has no luxuries besides the ones sent at Christmas and her DVD player from Tax return. I can work on getting a BOX together again to ship out. Nothing like Christmas in July! Let me know if you want to mail something out.
Her 4 girls
Her 1/2 a house just before the one she moved last year.

Finally I can recuperate.
It may take me weeks to put up pictures of our journey with my parents so bear with me. I’m going to try to stay home and enjoy the Summer with the girls. I have a bunch of old preschool songs from Grandma that I want to dance to with the girls other than that I am going to relax. I may even get to nap everyday from 2-4 or so. Nathan just put an awning up for the pack porch with some great help from Jorge and Mark(Thanks Guys!) and now I won’t be so worried about the girls in the sun in the back yard. We will clean out the little pool and have picnics at the new picnic table Grandpa built while he was visiting.
The Mommy Spa yesterday turned out great. Very peaceful, relaxing, rejuvenating and even though I was expecting aprox 30 guests and 9 showed It couldn’t have been any better. More Chocolate Fountain for US!! =) Yes I am Spoiled Rotten – and since my Mom came I have been more grateful for the things I have been blessed with. Most of all my husband. He really loves me. And I couldn’t love anyone more than I love him. I’m SOOOOOO lucky to have him. There are no other “Nathan’s” out there and I’m So blessed to have found him. He puts up with a lot of crud from me. I’m thankful for that. – -Thanks You Nathan for EVERYTHING. You have made me very Happy and all my friends jealous, and all their husbands in the “Dog House” Love you!
I’m headed to bed for a nap now. Pictures and event details soon to come! Stay tuned.
Especially for Shana. . . then for everyone else!
Raising Boys
a) For those with no children this is totally hysterical!
b) For those who already have children past this age, this is hilarious.
c) For those who have children this age, this is not funny.
d) For those who have children nearing this age, this is a warning.
e) For those who have not yet had children, this is birth control. The following came from an anonymous Mother in Austin, Texas…
Things I’ve learned from my Boys (honest and not kidding):
1.) A king size waterbed holds enough water to fill a 2000 sq. ft. house 4 inches deep.
2.) If you spray hair spray on dust bunnies and run over them with roller blades, they can ignite.
3.) A 3 year old Boy’s voice is louder than 200 adults in a crowded restaurant.
4.) If you hook a dog leash over a ceiling fan, the motor is not strong enough to rotate a 42 pound Boy wearing Batman underwear and a Superman cape. It is strong enough, however, if tied to a paint can, to spread paint on all four walls of a 20×20 ft. room.
5.) You should not throw baseballs up when the ceiling fan is on. When using a ceiling fan as a bat, you have to throw the ball up a few times before you get a hit. A ceiling fan can hit a baseball a long way
6.) The glass in windows (even double pane) doesn’t stop a baseball hit by a ceiling fan.
7.) When you hear the toilet flush and the words “uh oh”, it’s already too late.
8.) Brake fluid mixed with Clorox makes smoke, and lots of it.
9.) A six year old Boy can start a fire with a flint rock even though a 36 year old Man says they can only do it in the movies.
10.) Certain Lego’s will pass through the digestive tract of a 4 year old boy.
11.) Play dough and microwave should not be used in the same sentence.
12.) Super glue is forever.
13.) No matter how much Jell O you put in a swimming pool you still can’t walk on water.
14.) Pool filters do not like Jell O.
15.) VCR’s do not eject “PB & J” sandwiches even though TV commercials show they do.
16.) Garbage bags do not make good parachutes.
17.) Marbles in gas tanks make lots of noise when driving.
18.) You probably DO NOT want to know what that odor is.
19.) Always look in the oven before you turn it on; plastic toys do not like ovens.
20.) The fire department in Austin, TX has a 5 minute response time.
21.) The spin cycle on the washing machine does not make earthworms dizzy.
22.) It will, however, make cats dizzy.
23.) Cats throw up twice their body weight when dizzy.
24.) 80% of Men who read this will try mixing the Clorox and brake fluid.
25.) Women will pass this on to almost all of their friends, with or without kids.
We’ve been Touring and Traveling!
A Grand Day in NYC
After the 2 hr Drive due to construction, accidents and what-not we finally made it to NYC.
We headed to the
~Bathroom past
~Radio City Music Hall to the
~Hot Dog Stand for lunch past
~Carnegie Hall – My Dad Played Carnegie Hall – His big Pun of the day he drummed on it with his hands.
~Subway to the end of Manhattan to go on
~The Statue of Liberty it took about 5 hours to get there and back we took the
~Staten Island Ferry across. Then we went to the
~Chrysler Building, over to the
~Empire State Building took the Elevator to the 80th Floor, took pictures then it got really cloudy and we walked through the cloud, the girls fed the pigeons on the top. Many Japanese people were THRILLED to see our little red heads they started taking pictures with them – 2 different groups even one of the workers at the budding started to ask what was so amazing about the red heads – of course the Japanese had no idea what we were saying but all I could tell the guy at the counter was that “they were American kids” Japanese don’t get to see that I guess. The next adventure was to. We hit
~Grand Central Station to look at the Main Concourse
~McDonald’s for Dinner and Hiked 3 flights of stairs to our seats to eat. Ran by
~Times Square
~Herald Square
~Broadway all to go to. . .
~The 7 for $10 t-shirt souvenir shop and back up to the
~Hilton Hotel for a pit stop and across the street
~The Parking Garage 54th street and 6th Ave –walking—the girls were troopers – I think it was about 25 blocks
~I was the Taxi Home and I plan to stay away from NYC for a while!! Later we drove past
~Central Park – At night and saw the Horses and Buggies while Stressing our way OUT of the City.
I’m Sure Hailey and Sierra would say their favorite parts were Feeding the Pigeons on the top of the Empire State Building and seeing the Dogs and the Police Horses.
My Parents would say their best part was actually seeing things in the City. My Dad especially enjoyed Seeing the Buildings from the top of the Empire State Building and finding that 7/$10 T-Shirt shop again. The others were all 6-5-4-3/$10. He had to get the bargian.
Even though it was hard work and the bottoms of our feet are raw we really had a good time and I have never done so much in one day with anyone that has visited me So we were all pretty Spoiled!! And we made it home in one piece!
