The Tooth Fairy Visited Again Last Night. I pulled out Hailey’s last front tooth yesterday morning.
I have been to 3 different Stop and Shop stores many times and probably walked out with $400+ for $50 or less They have been having a crazy 8 sale. I buy 8 items from their list(mix match) and get $8 off the next shopping order. Which if you get the right items they are $8 or LESS!!! Therefore you get PAID to take some items you just have to put the initial $8 up every order after that you get the awesome coupons!!! It got even better when I bought campbells select soup $1.28 each normal $2.69 each. . .For every 4 I bought I got $1 off and for every 6 of those I got another $1.50 off!!! So I’d walk out of the store with 8 cans of soup and had to throw on 2 bags of skittles because I was getting paid to take them =) and it cost .20 cents which included the 2 bags of 69 cent skittles.
I’m sure you really don’t care but I have probably 100 cans of soup so Food storage is stocking up. We will need it through the winter because we Are Staying in CT and it sounds like heating our house will be more than MANY MANY peoples Mortgage and apartment payments due to the 50% increase in natural gas prices. Hopefully we will be able to heat the soup! I got a bunch of other stuff too. Gravy mixes, Hi C drinks I was able to get 80 pouches for $2.64 and just one pack of 10 is normally 2.99, Campbells kids soups, Lysol Wipes .25 cents + free Lysol neutra air because I bought the Wipes =) etc!

Here is a picture from a while back of Sierra with her hair up. And Hailey too.
After showering I called to the girl to see what they were up to since they were downstairs. We hear a quick, “Don’t come down we are doing Business” from Hailey . . .Suspicious? Yes! Nathan heads down to see and go to work. I follow shortly after Nathan Says I have to SEE what they did. The girls are sitting on the kitchen floor with 2 sippy cups full of chocolate milk and one plastic cup of chocolate milk. Nathan proceeds to open the fridge and points out about 5 more plastic cups in the fridge 2 in the door, the rest in the shelves and about 5 more big sippy cups full of chocolate milk. When we asked the girls what they were doing they said they were storing them.
Guess that’s what they will do when Mom is always telling them she doesn’t have time to make chocolate milk.
Sierra Headed out to preschool today but before we left she saw her hair in the mirror and HATED it. She tried to pull it out. Then hid behind me as we walked through the school(she never acts shy) But today she didn’t want to be seen because she didn’t like her Buns they were too puffy and not stringy enough for her. She got enough compliments from the 20 highschoolers and teachers in the class that she finally had the confidence to go to school. I picked her up and she was very happy after that.
Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Kathy all came over for lunch – Kathy brought Zion Her Dog)Sierra kept calling him “Sadan” for some reason and she was very excited to play with him but very scared of him. He’s a very perky puppy with a lot of energy. She’s a very perky kid with a lot of energy. When you get them together things get crazy.
Later that evening we all headed out the The Cracker Barrel and had Dinner with the crew. The girls had a blast with their cousins and learned how to play checkers. I got to hold Melanies Baby Christian for a while That was nice. I need the practice. It’s been 4 1/2 years!
She Actually charged me $Money$ for a cup of Chocolate Milk!!! And when I gave Sierra a Quarter she said she needed more than 1. She was making a business!!! Too bad she only got 1 quarter!
This Picture is Day 2 what’s left after Grandma Kathy Sierra and Hailey each have 1 cup and Sierra has 1 Sippy and Hailey has one sippy.
Grandma and Granpa are in town. That’s the new news from here. It’s great to have them around.
We have been weighing the two jobs and so far staying here for a bit will work better for us maybe not financially but physically and career wise. So. . . you will all have to stop asking us for money. =)
If you want to renew any of your magazine subscriptions(except LDS) you can do it through Hailey since she’s in Girl Scouts. She also has a nut and chocolate list she’d be happy to share with you(pretty good prices!!). Her troop will get some of the $$ making it cheaper for us to send her there.
1st Day back at Preschool for Sierra. She was SOOOOOO excited!! And glad to be back. She gets pretty hyper on days like these, then as the afternoon rolls around she is so tired she turns into a totally different human being. She cannot comprehend what I say to her, she has a breakdown when I tell her to head up to bed for a nap, and she tries to find excuses and things to make her not go to sleep right away. Today she asked if she could “just go over to a friends house really quick to play before nap”(right after I said it’s naptime). She has cried herself to sleep since she was a baby and it has been a lot better in the past year, but we still have those moments and naptime today was one of them. It breaks my heart still, but I know she has to do it. Especially when she is over-tired.
I kept really busy I got two hours to drop off dry cleaning and go to the grocery store. I saved $120.00 spending only $34!! That’s $154 for $34. We came home and I got to talk to all my sisters on the phone at the same time we had a 4-way conference call. Sad thing is all we talked about was poopies, but you have to know my family it’s what makes us laugh. It was good to hear from all of them at the same time. We tried to add my mom to the call but either her line was busy or there’s a 4 person limit to 3-way calling.
I cleaned, cleaned and cleaned (not that anyone notices or cares – but me) and I put away all the groceries(many frozen -HEAVY- to the basement). Then I BBQ’d helped Wash out the kiddie pool, and let the girls play in the water and scribble chalk on the patio while I fixed dinner. Had Haiely do her homework and looked it over, etc.
Nathan came home with a LOT of exciting new about work and jobs.
By 7:00 I was POOPED! I couldn’t listen to another word from the girls, my feet ached and my hormones were overflowing causing me to cry the moment Nathan came to find me hiding in the formal living room drinking rootbeer.
By 8:00 I was covered with bubbles smelling a blueberry muffin candle and soaking in bath salts. AAAAAHhhhhhh and after that I felt much better and ready to sleep.
11:00 bedtime.

My feet and ankles were so swollen after the babyshower I couldn’t walk. Friday I relaxed. That Evening Nathan and I planned a Date to go to the movies but there weren’t any out that looked interesting to us, so I made him take me Baby shopping. I know it wasn’t anything he wanted to do but he did it for me. I think it helped him see the reality of our lives at right now. Since he’s not living with a growing stomach it’s not on his mind 24/7 and I think shopping with him struck a cord. If it wasn’t the shopping it was setting up all the bedding in the nursery that made him realize we are going to have a baby in there. We found a nautical bedding set for Aiden it was very well priced instead of paying $430.00 we got the whole Regatta set for $125 – the one on our baby registry doesn’t say it’s on sale but in the store it is. I was pleased. I asked Nathan where he wanted to go and he really didn’t know but since we had a babysitter we had to do something(Thanks Meg)So after the trip to Baby Depot we went to Subway for dinner and over to the Grocery Store where Nathan picked up food and candy for the girls so we could have Dinner & Movie parties in front of the TV. We picked up a bunch of lunchables and he grabbed Candy Necklaces, Candy Buttons, and Soda Wax Stix -nastalgic candies and headed home.

TARA HAD HER BABY SATURDAY NIGHT!!!!!!!!
I get to pick them up from the Hospital in the AM becasue they don’t have a car. I’m very Excited for them. =)
Hailey is doing pretty well with her homework. It does take a long time. Her Dad and I are being very supportive and I think that’s helping – Piano has been a flop becasue we haven’t been so supportive about that. I usually have her do it around 5:00 when I’m working on dinner so she’s at the table where I can stop and help if she needs. I heard for every year they get an additional 15 minutes of homework. I think she spends 1/2 to 1 hour on the 2 little pages. But she is OK doing it. She’s always had the temperment of sitting still and concentrating.
We can get quite a bit out of her about her day at school. Last year it was like pulling teeth.
Sometimes you just have to do something for somebody else so you don’t have to think so much about your own issues. I was lucky enough to be able to throw a baby shower For Tara Bogart and had a wonderful turn out. She is having her 5th child and this was her 1st baby shower. We did some of the usual but FUN games and Tara walked away with new friends and a plethera of baby items perfect for her little girls (Due next Thurs)
We set up the Chocolate Fountain, Soaked our feet in Rocks and Foot Salts, Played The Poopy Diaper Game, Baby Items Memory, Lose your Safety pin if you say BABY, and a Bottle Drinking Race – Cherry 7-up filled.
It’s 12:55am I’m still up on my computer.
