Sunday Oct. 30-Monday Oct. 31
We spent a couple hours in the hospital having contractions. Nathan called Cliff to stay with the girls while we headed to the hospital. The contractions were about 8 min apart and becasue Sierra came so fast we wanted to be sure we had time to get to the hospital, get and epidural, and so on. We go there around 2 am and left at 4 am I was still having contractions irregularly from 6-12 min apart some were VERY intense and some were mild but still hurt. We got to visit with Aunt Kathy since she works at the hospital and Keep her company for part of the night while we walked the halls. I left the hospital at 2-3cm dialted and 50% effaced. at home I just laid in bed very still and fell asleep the contactions slowed to every hour and now they only come when I walk a lot or move fast so I’m trying to take it REALLY REALLY EASY so we don’t have a hallloween baby.
Tomorrow morning we will head back and be induced.
After I slept most of the morning with sierra by my side watching TV, and Nathan went to finished getting the emissions on the Audi finished and pick up a couple groceries I took a bath and we headed out to Hailey’s school costume parade(which poor Nathan missed because I was so slow getting ready to go) and the parade was SO SHORT. Sierra and I got to see Hailey and then we headed home. I didn’t even grab the camera. Hopefully Hailey’s teacher can send us some.
Still very uncomfortable and REALLY trying to keep still so we don’t have this baby on Halloween. Nathan is going to take the girls out Trick-or-Treating and I will stay home and pass out candy.
TRUNK-OR-TREAT
I forgot to snap pictures at the event. We had the car set up wit the sign just to the side that you see Sierra Standing by. We had loud music playing from our Disney remix CD. a few childrens books set up in the back and some felt pumpkins. I passed out candy and Daddy took the girls around to all the cars in the parking lot. It was a nice evening.
The Spider costume Nathan made for Hailey turned out GREAT! hopefully we will remember to snap a picture.
Circus
Sierra Didn’t get a nap and many of the pics didn’t turn out becasue of her grumpy face but Hailey sure enjoyed herself! Daddy spoiled them with Cotton Candy, Hats, Glow neclaces and bracelets, an awesome Circus adventure and at the end even with a lot of No’s from Mommy and “They are asking for things and the joy that they will recieve from a snow cone from you will last for seconds and won’t mean anything” He finally caved and made the girls happy with an $8 snow cone in a pink Elephaunt mug. I really wonder if they will remember or appreciate the things their daddy has done for them. Such loved and Spoiled little girls. Now that it’s journaled they will have to remember it.
Hailey especially loved the Upsidedown World (people walking upsidedown – very tricky) and a bunch of dancers clowns and a great finale for that part. Sierra liked the clowns and Horses actually SHE LOVED the horses. She loved the fireworks and loud noises. They were both amazed by the big elephaunts.
My Sister asked that I post about the Dr visit. So here’s what they have to say.
He asked the girls weights I told him 6.8 and 7.8 He felt my belly and said our boy would be closer the the 7.8.
The doctor also said it’s a good thing I’m being induced because he wouldn’t want the baby to get any bigger.
Also His Heartrate is 135 BPM (which has slowed form is smaller size which was about 155 BPM). So he’s getting bigger.
He’s head down.
I’m 2 cm dialated!!!!!! I made him do an exam since I have been so uncomfortable and have had some major pressure and contractions in the past week. So I am a little scared that this baby could come REALLY FAST at any moment. And since I made it to 3 cm with Sierra – stood up used the bathroom at the hospital with the Sierra’s doctor, and she said I was pushing before I even knew I was. It’s SCARY . . .So I really could have this baby anytime. With both the girls I was 1 cm the month before delivering and didn’t have the pressure I’ve had with baby boy. The doctor said I should be VERY easy to induce at the rate I’m already going. He said the only problem that could happen is if the contractions come too fast and strong that the babys heartrate drops, my blood pressure rises and the baby gets too scared to come out then they would have to C-section. So Pray that all goes smothly and that I get an epidural – I feel like this labor with the contractions I have already had is going to be VERY painful compared to the girls. I wasn’t able to get an Epidural with Sierra that was Scary! It was easier to recover from but I had my sights set on it. I guess right now I’d be ok without it, but why go through the pain again?
We have a very busy weekend and don’t really want the baby to come during all the Halloween parties so give us 4 more days please!
Tuesday is the Magical day 8 am we are off!!

Sierras Pedicure – Turned out Cute!!

Hailey has been wanting to be a spider for Halloween. I have been neglecting making a costume HOPING that I would find one at a store – NO such luck! And I never picked up anything to make one and kept trying to talk her into being a Fairy. She kept insisting that she be SCARY for halloween. I came home and nathan had gone out and picked up the things HE needed to make a Costume for her. She and Sierra are helping him stuff it. We should have final results pretty soon. I can’t wait to see his idea!! OH THE SUSPENSE!
Today I hit the grocery store up for $207 worth of groceries for $50.00 The girls were a handful and my belly is VERY uncomfortable! Can’t wait for the baby to come!!! 6 more days!!
Sierra’s 1st Professional Pedicure @ 4 years old!!
Nathan came home with a $50 bonus yesterday and asked that I pamper myself with it. It came at a much needed time for a pedicure (since I cannot reach my feet). On may way home from lunch with him I decided to stop. I wondered what I was going to do with Sierra the whole time my feet were getting done So I just decided she should get hers done too. After All Hailey just went and had a Glamour party and got her nails done. Seems fair. So Sierra and I had pedicures done and I also got a back massage. There went the $50! in 2 seconds! But Sierra and I look better and feel better for it. Thanks Nathan! We love what you do for us.
