Loads of things going on inside the house.

Things like getting bedrooms to fit the family by getting bunk beds, switching our bed to the King size bed – I still love the closeness of a queen though! I got to have a few shopping sprees and get the dresser and end tables for our bedroom and pick up new bedding and accessories for our bed and the whole house. It was fun spending over $2,000 in a day but. . . The fun has to stop there.

Zach is walking wonderfully. He gets so excited and breaths really fast when he sees something he wants or just peeking over chairs with family members. He turns corners well and has mastered going downstairs with his tummy to the steps. He learned that Thanksgiving Day at Grandma S’s house. I get ooohs and aaahs over how cute he is everywhere I go. About as much as my red haired girls.

The girls don’t start school until The first week in January. It’s a little hard right now having them running up and down stairs while Nathan is trying to work. And I’m trying to unpack boxes and take care of Zach. I still have to pick up their “Winter Break packets” so they can keep busy with that. We just got our satellite TV installed yesterday and found the power cord for the gamecube, they are happily watching TV and played Star Wars Lego this morning. It’s great to have them still and I – silent with no need of breaking up another cat fight.

Nathan wakes up at 5:30 in the morning. His conference calls start at 6 AM the only thing I really miss about him “heading off to work in the morning” which is downstairs, is the kiss goodbye. It’s really hard keeping 3 kids perfectly quiet and away from their play room in the basement all day long. He should be off at 3PM each day but continues to work. Things at work should start letting up a little bit as he tries to get the Thousands of users to switch to a “tool” that has better hardware. And he will start migrating to a different position.

I miss couponing. I did the grocery shopping this week and spent $300.00!!! I had to stock an empty fridge and freezer for a family of 5 1/2. I did find a sale items and a few misc coupons on boxes and such which helped I saved $46 at one store and who knows how much at the WalMart Super Center which I have never had! So I did get quite a bit for my money compared. But still. . .Coupons are being missed. Especially DOUBLE coupons!

I’m dead tired all the time. I fall asleep during the day almost everyday for a few minutes and we are in bed by 8:30 or 9 PM. We put the kids in bed, watch a little TV or a movie but by 3/4 of the movie I’m usually out cold! We got our Dresser and night stands today they look great with the bed! So we will finally have a place to unload boxes. I have also had to take a trip to the laundrey mat. Since our Washer and Dryer don’t Show up until December 13TH! I’m sending Nathan out Next time and he can work from there since leaving 1 or more kids at home NEVER works well. His idea. The Delivery company came at 7:30 AM and I am still tired from waking up early.

There’s a lot of dust in the air and at about Between 5 and 5:30 I’m usually up sneezing and blowing my nose – which isn’t something I want to have to wake up for, then on top of that. I have to use the restroom and if I move too much I get AWFUL pregnancy ligament pains. I have been in tears and sometimes Bawling on more than one occasion and the only way to get rid of them is to guzzle a bottle of water. One night I laid really still and they went away. Another night I tried the same thing – the bottle of water was on my hope chest at the end of the bed. I was in so much pain that I couldn’t even sit up to get the water and I ended up waking Nathan up in tears because I couldn’t bend to get the water. I hate almost everything about being pregnant. My body doesn’t handle it well AT ALL! I’m glad this is the last one I’m putting my body through. I hope I can make it through this one.

Where are all these boxes going to fit??

Movers came to pack up. It took 3 of them 7 hours to pack the garage, basement, 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom, the formal room, the dining room and the laundry room. On Monday they still have to pack the rest of the master bedroom and the office, the kitchen, dining nook, family room and master bath. Then they have to load it on the truck on Tuesday.

My feet hurt!

I did Laundry, packed the suitcases, supervised, kept Zach out of the way, did dishes, unloaded the Freezer in the basement, answered the phone a-lot, fed kids, Aunt Mel came over to pick up some stuff, then went out to pick up Boston Market for us for lunch and dinner. She got some stuff from the store for me for the Pampered Chef/Mary Kay party at her place tonight. Got the mail, packed up the last eBay box to ship etc.

The movers are fast about what they do. Man! Thank goodness I didn’t have to pack myself. I would have had to start packing 3 months ago or just thrown it all away. I hope there’s room in the new house for all of it and that everything will have a place like it does now. I can see the kitchen area being a problem because we have a huge pantry and cabnints FULL. I may just be having a Pre-Christmas garage sale when we move into the new house =)

Besides my feet hurting my stomach feel like it’s 10 pounds heavier than it was this morning. Probably looks it too.

The neighbors took the girls for a couple hours this monrning, then they made paper airplanes, Played Blues Art on the computer, and played the game Pretty Pretty Princess.

Zach is starting to walk all over now as and has he has a place to start balancing from like a sofa or mommy to hold his hands. He will take about 5 steps before he falls every time and has tried turning a little too! He loves walking and knocking people down. I taught him that it’s fun to push – I was just trying to teach him to walk and if he could walk to me he would be able to push me down. I hope I can break the habit soon. . .Or Be prepared everyone he may just come after you!

Then my Friend Jen came around 3 to take the girls to play at her house. What a sweetie. I had to be at the house the whole time the movers packed to answer their questions and guide them. The girls are still with Jen She’s going to feed them lunch.

I baked a huge chocolate chip cookie for tonight’s dessert at Melanies and Nathan will be home in about 1/2 hour to eat and get the kids in bed while I put my feet up for a minute.

I also took down curtains, sprayed clean all the fake plants they take up the whole formal room like a jungle! My hand is killing from that I went through 2 bottles of Silk flower cleaner, and also used up the 1 spray can of clear polyurethane on the kids picnic table since the movers won’t pack aerosols or paint. – or bleach or a couple other things that I’m going to have to donate someplace.

How Zach and Mommy spent a good part of the morning.

It Gets Better Video

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oStiuJYj8D0]

Zach and I play a game to get him to walk. I hold him out as far as my arms can reach and if he can walk to me to knowck me down I fall over. If he falls down before he gets to me then he can’t puch me over. He loves it! I should get Nathan to video it.

Running to the dentist.

The Movers start taking apart my home tomorrow. TVs are going down, life is going to be dramatically different really soon. I will not be able to email blog or sell $300 in 2 weeks on ebay for a while. I will try to connect from nathans laptop or Grandma and grandpa’s house. Don’t expect much though. The busy is upon us! We will be missing you till then.

Grandma Wilkeys Egg Nog

Ok, OK, being pregnant personally makes me crave things – since my body can only handle childrens vitamins without throwing up – I have to resort to nature to let my body tell me what I need to eat or drink.

I made this Egg Nog and found the price a little steep the 1st time but found bargains and sale items for the 2nd time. It’s very good and I have to say if you like egg nog you’s love this one! Thanks J.

I just added a little whipped cream and sprinkle of nutmeg. DEEEELICIOUS!

Inquiry?

When we move the state law requires that all children under age 5 ride in an appropriate car seat or booster seat.

Children aged 5 to 16 must ride in an appropriate booster seat or wear a seat belt. This states law requires all passengers over age 16 must wear a properly fitted seat belt.

Sierra is 5 does this mean that she can go around in just a seatbelt when we move? I have had her in a forward facing car seat since she was 1. In this state to move out of a booster seat you have to meet both requirements of
6 years AND 60 pounds which my girls won’t be 60 pounds until they are about 10 years old. They are just now about 45 pounds.

I’d be really happy if someone can tell me if my girls can be free from booster seats and child restraints. LMK.

I wasn’t able to make it to my cousin Heidi’s wedding. See the family resemblance? Hailey and Sierra have great cousins and kin cousins with red hair and here is one of them. Thanks laycrew.blogspot.com LeeJoe and Kim for the picture!

So you see they are family after all.

Hailey and Sierra this is your great cousin Heidi. My cousin. Her sister Dawn and brother Wade also have soft, flat red hair.
