Aurora gets about 3 baths a day now.

I’ve never had to clean up so many baby messes like hers. I just throw food on her high chair tray and let her go at it. with her clothes on. Sometimes I get a bib and a lap towel on her when it’s not sloppy food and she stays relativly clean only needing her hair washed from her hands rubbing through it.

I just take off her Soggy food covered clothes – I don’t have the patience or time now to spoon feed her carefully and she prefers grabbing it and eating it herself. I clean and wash out the sink and toss her in with some soap and spoons, bowls cups etc. UI leave the water running in a tiny stream and stay close while she plays and plays in it. She’s taken to throwing her water filled cups and bowls onto the floor and evreeything else splashing as she goes. I end up wet and Zach usually wants to hop up and play with the faucet and blow bubbles into the water with a straw.

Here’s my water baby. If I turn around for a moment she cries and tries to get out. so some baths are cut much shorter for time sake.

Just a simple little reminder. I brised my tailbone and hurt myself real bad skating so I’m in major pain and on pain killers. Night’s the worst when the medicine wears off I feel my body going into shock-until the next pain killer sets in 1/2 hr. OUCH!

Today I got the kids to Read, Help with dishes, and I cleaned and cleaned. I can’t bend over well even with the meds and picking Aurora or Zach up from the floor and changing their diapers is torture to me – in more ways than one ;)

Here are some pictures of Sierra Lately

Valentines Day

I made it home in time to spend V-Day with Nathan. . .I guess that counts as my gift to him. I also set up a babysitter for Saturday so we could see a movie. We watched Jumper and really liked it.

He got me a Georgeous basket of Cookies made to look like Message hearts, with a balloon boquet attached. So cute.
I made Heart pancakes for everyone for breakfast. We topped them with Strawberries and Cream.
I took the girls to gymnastics and picked up a Papa Murphys Heart Shaped Pizza for dinner – heart pizzas have become a tradition. Since I cannot find babysitters on V-Day we have a family V-Day party. I know there will be many V-Days without kids so for now we will celebrate and have fun with them.

Aurora You are 11 Months old.

On your 11 month birthday your first tooth broke through the skin. 2 moths later than your older sibling! Finally they are coming in!

On your 11 Month birthday you walked along a waker toy and had a blast moving it around like a pro. At the skating rink you even started dancing and moving while you kept your balance so sturdy while you walked the rolling toy across the floor.

You have been in Many states in the US in the 11 months on earth, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona and if you count in Utero when mommy was pregnant – you can count Connecticut, New York and Flying across the US.

You wave, Clap, click your tongue, mimic, copy tongoue movements, dance, STAND, and you gave daddy his 1st kiss on your 11 month birthday. Such cute kisses too! You play peek-a-boo and when you make people jump or act surprised you LAUGH HARD!
and you CLIMB THE STAIRS!

Instead of going to the Air force museum and Prophet flash cards, I took the kids all 4 by myself to Classic Skating for Moms Club. I threw my rollerblades, 2 bikes, Aurora and Zachs ride on-Walking toy the stroller in the car and the girls put their scooters in. We got there early probably the 1st of the day. I called a ton of people on my caller id list and whoever was on it in the neightborhood got an invite. One of my friends was already going and I didn’t even know she had that planned and she brought a friend with her as well. Anyways the kids all had fun scootering around. I put on my blades and pushed Aurora in the stoller. I gave Zach a turn to push her and he was having so much fun so I let him push her around for a long time. As he did, I felt free so I kept my balance and skated very well. So well I went faster, and faster, and suddenly without warning I wa falling in S>>LL>>OOO>>>WWW… motion onto my butt. Nobody was there to see except the girls. I felt horrible shooting pain through my spine, tailbone and bum. I carefully moved to the step and had Sierra help me take my rollerblades off.

I contineued through the day carefully but in a TON of pain. I figured there wasn’t a huge need to go to the Dr. ASAP because if I had broken my tailbone – which is a VERY hard thing to do, then there wasn’t anything they could really do except give me pain killers which we had some of at home and I drank a bunch of kids tylenol after it happened so I could move a bit.

I came home and Nathan lovingly took care of The Kids, Dinner, Dishes and cleaning. while I rested my bottom on my left side only and watched TV. I took one of his “lortabs” from his back trouble and it helped a little. I slept horribly and took another at 3:00AM with the same results helped little couldn’t bend, sit squat or lift children from the floor or change diapers on the floor. So I made an appointemnt to get an X-Ray. My visiting teachers came over. I made them and their kids lunch and they had a little playdate with my kids. It was a kind of rushed meeting because I had to get to the appointemnt. When I drive the car I go around corners like I’m on ice and don’t want to slide – it’s that slow going and painful. To make a long story bearable. It’s bruised and can take up to 9 months to heal. I can’t sit well without the PAIN KILLERS I can’t bend down and pick up a small object on the floor, Listing Aurora – 19-20LBS is painful but necessary. and I cannot play int the BASKETBALL game or the Tournament which I’m sure we will be in. . and I cannot go to the gym and do my next 2 personal training sessions till I feel better and I want to work out and lose weight.

I also had them look at my kidney stone CT scan. I have a 8-9MM stone in my Upper Left Kidney and a 6 MM stone in my lower Right. They said those are to big to pass and I should go in to the urologist for Lithotripsy to brake them up so the will pass easily. I’m not looking forward to that – I wonder what will happen if I just let them hang out there. . . .humm. . . anyone have answers?

The girls are still out of school. 1 more week. They have a lot of reading to do there is a competition at the school. the class w/ the most minutes read gets a class party. We are working on their minutes every day.

Yesterday we played with cornstarch and water for a long time and then made paperclip jewelry.

Today we are going to use prophet flash cards and possibly make a trip to the Air Force museum.

Last night we had FHE. We tried to go out bowling. we got there at 4:45 and were kicked out because there were leagues coming in. If you ask me I think that is completely rude to the public to advertise you building as BOWLING when noone ever gets to bowl ther unless they are in leagues or come at 1-2 specific times. it’s rediculous. Being as hard as it is to get Nathan out to bowl and this was his idea made it even worse. we won’t ever try to bowl ther again. we headed over to the Fun Center where we will go again in a few years. Zach and Aurora were 2 hands full well, 4 hands full and Sierra needed my help getting around the floor on skates. We had to rent scates and sooters on top of paying for the “ability” to go skating which is a rediculous thing to charge for.-unless the skates and scooters are included in the cost. I had an ok time really and the older girls played and played. we did the bouncy room with all the bow up slides and jumpers. Nathan got us Pizza and rootbeer and held Aurora a lot.

He also watched the kids for me yesterday(Presidents Day)-no work. He let them make blanket and chair tent and put christmas lights inside for lighting. – so cute! I went to get my nails done. yes full sets they make me feel prettier. Then I picked up a spicy chicken sandwich for him and frostys from Wendy’s foir the family.

Better go get my show on the road.

We headed home on Sunday

Drove through Texas, Oklahoma back through the top of Texas across I-40 – Got our KICKS ON ROUTE 66 and got fireworks and ice cream. We drove through New Mexico and stopped at the CONTENETAL DEVIDE and the kids all played in teepees and ran around for a bit. I got some index cards with different stones and names on them for the kids to study. We watched dogs chase the car over the devide. We looked at some Native American Jewelry.

We drove through New Mexico and had to stay a night in TuCumCari. and headed to THE FOUR CORNERS. Where we (I)took pictures of each of the kids in different states and got all of their hands in different stated it’s going to be a cute picture when I get the film develpoed. =) Yes we ran out of battery on the camera, and I forgot the charger at home and you can’t put battereis in this one. Most of my pictures on the way home are on my cel-phone. We got to see some georgeous sunsets and sun rises. we got to see THE WORLDS BIGGEST CROSS. right at sunset.

We stayed a second night along our journey in MOAB UTAH sna spend a few hours the next morning in ARCHES NATIONAL PARK. Sierra became an artist and drew pictures of her favorite looking rock formations. They got to climb rocks and take a small hike – after all it was 34* outside.

it was a 5 hour drive from there and we made 1 stop for diaper changes and potty so we could get home on the THIRD day for dinner with Nathan. He took us out to The Golden Corral.

It was a very memorable 3 day drive. and a great experience for the kids to drive though Colorado, Utah, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona and visit family. They sure had a wonderful time and made some great memories.

Aurora will not be wanting to ride in a car for a long time. Zach grabbed his shoes and socks this morning ready to head out to the car and go for a ride. Instead I sent him out with mittens and a hat and let him play in the snow. along the drive and during out trip we went from 10* in Colorado overpassed to 82* in Texas and 34* all over then back home at about 50* and soon Snow it sounds like. Pretty crazy all the different temperatures. The most fun was at the park when I fet like I was getting a sunburn in the middle of winter knowing that that would not happen at home this time of year.

We saw babies blessed. And chilled with Janika and her family for 2 weeks. 1 more week and the girls go back to school. In the meantime we will be folding laundry, cleaning, cooking and I’m not i the mood to grocery shop so we will see what we can make with whats in the house. I’m going to have 2 great helpers in the kitchen.

Haileys favorite part was climbing rocks, Sierra’s was Drawing the rocks. _ think they are saying that cuz it was one of the last things we did.

Goodbye
