Family Fun Monday Night

We ha a great BBQ with NAthans family. I took the kids.

We played with some cousins from CT and nearby.

We played with the cat, dog and chickens. even aurora was getting in the pen to feed the chickens, we also lurked around in the garden that Aunt Suzie is working very hard to maintain and grow fresh produce in.

Kids played on the waterslide and the swingset. I pushed kids for a long time on the swings.

I got a couple pictures. Sierra tried teaching Uncle Joe and Uncle Mark & Aunt Suzie how to irish dance in front of Shana and I with the camera. It was funny! Sierra is still a very beginner but she tried to teach some of it.

We got home really late and the next morning – this morning the second day of school Sierra had a huge sleepy meltdown about her planner getting signed for her teacher and no “July” month in the planner – year round school has this 1 bad point toward it for me today – everything else about it is really good. REALLY.

Well, Here we go Again.

The Girls are going back to school TODAY!!

They are entering 2nd and 4th grade. The letters from the teachers weren’t all that exciting. But neither is school right? Hailey gets to have a sharing day today. We have put togehter some of the things that can teach the class a little about her. I’m sending in a Photo Tree and we’ve put family pictures, & cousins in it and one of CT where she lived for 7 years. She’s also putting in Poke’mon cards she’s really loving those right now. We got her backpack together last night. They are going to be working on Sea Life for the first 3 weeks and she’s bringing in a couple books to share. Hailey is in “The Roving Class” They will move from classroom to classroom every time they go back on track they will move to a different room – I had no idea till the letter on Saturday. I hope that won’t be too distracting to her – She’s already very distracted and has a hard time staying on task.

Sierra’s was pretty simple, “Come to school with a backpack and a smile.”

I’m sening them to school on thier brand new bikes.

Nathan is outa town for the week we are already missing him =(

Ellie turned 10 she’s been living with her Aunt behind us and came over to play with the girls at luch we celebrated with a cookie and roasted mini marshmallows over her candle. now this kids want to do it again and again.

Aurora is a water baby these days. She’s always soaking wet. Zach is the leader, We all love how much he is talking can’t wait so see everyone elses little tikes at the family reunion next week.

It was so much fun! So much better than my parties. We played games and had a blast! Thanks guys!

I’m doing it all and playing with the kids.

We’ve been to a BIG pool and played for a day, To the park with the fishing pond with friends for a bike ride, Basketball group played at my neighbors today, Nathan got the girls new bikes becasue they had outgrown their size 5 year old bikes they are 7 and 9 years old now. I’ve been going to the Gym. I went to see a doctor about my measly 1 pound a week weight loss and he helped modivate me to kick some booty for the next month. I feel like I did when We were doing our last family big loser, where I wanted to excersize all day and it may not seem like much to some people. . .But I have been singing lately too!

I also consulted with Molly earlier in the week about her song choices to sing for American Idol auditions. Seems she’s had an inspirational few weeks to get out to California and try out. Then her car was broken into while they were out there and she almost couldn’t make it to tryouts with out 2 forms of ID, my Dad saved the day and had information faxed to her and she’s registered. I’m pretty sure try outs are Fri and Saturday. She sings GREAT! She’s not afraid to be on a stage or in front of people she’s just a FUN person— Plus if anyone has a sob story of a hard life. . .Let me tell you. it’s this one. . I can’t tell you where it all begins. . .Maybe in the womb where she had to start life struggling to stay alive being a twin! Then the horrible marrige and abuse in that, and having 4 girls very early in her marriage, Being homeless and living in a campground not having $2 to buy a cooler to keep her babys bottle of milk cold and now she’s finally moved up to at $2,000 Trailer in a hispanic minority centered trailer park with her new hubby 4 kids 2 cats and 1 dog. And she works at a kidney dialasys clinic. The list goes on and on and on. At least she’s going to try. She came in 2nd in the Reno American Idol Contest, really she should have been first.

Lets hope she at least gets to Vegas and someone sees her great talent!

This week we spend a good part of a day at a park,

Then we went to an Aquarium where Zach and Aurora enjoyed looking at the fish. and Hailey learned about all sorts of sea creatures while Sierra figured out how to get a sting ray out of the water and close enough to pet – without anyone’s help. They learned a lot! We had a sack lunch in the cafe followed by a raspberry mango smoothie and continued through the Aquarium. One of the many friends I called to come showed up. She has a 6 year old and a newly adopted infant. The 3 older girls got along quite well.

Later that day we headed back over to the same park we spent so long at on Tuesday. There are Swings, a Merry go-round a duck pond, walking trails seagulls to feed, sand to play in slides, bathroom, drinking fountain SHADE and benches. it’s a lovely park. We played the “Swinging State Capitols Game” with Hailey and Sierra. . . I tell them the name of a State and they tell me the State’s Capitol.WHEN THEY GET A STATE CAPITOL RIGHT they get an UNDERDOGGY which they look forward to and absolutely LOVE!

They were so good at if when it was just the 2 of them and I going to the park. . Hailey knew most of them when she was 5 and Sierra when she was 3. They have forgotten them since so we are re-working things out.. . . .

I have between 3-5 people a week stopping by the house to shop for jewelry. It keeps me hopping.

On Saturday I have been invited to do a multi-group Garage Sale and be the Cookie Lee Lady there.

There will be Avon, and more. They are on Main Street so it’s a VERY busy road. I just hope I can keep the kids happy and close – if not I’ll have to close up and take them to the fun park. We are going to have them sell soda and lemonade to raise money for things they want – Sierras FREE bike Blew it’s tire yesterday and now she want s to save up for a new tire. . .I told her she should just save up for a new bike. we will see what money they can come up with. =)

These are the kids of things I love to do for FUN. I love doing garage sale things and letting the kids play. I don’t know why. . .It really takes up a lot of a day, but we pull in anywhere from 250 to 600 each time we have done it and that’s how I get people to just come to my house to shop and spends over $100 at a time.

I’ve been able to purchase, Sold Out necklaces with the money that I thought I’d never be able to get for people. I’ve been able to get Hair clips for Aurora, Shoes and Purses for myself, a camera for Sierra, Pokemon cards for the girls, Lunch and dinners from fast food places, and I’m probably going to signe up with Pampered chef. . .at least for the Start up kit there’s soooo much in the kit and it will cost me 105.00 My shows helped me get $40 toward the $155.00 cost. So I’ll probably be getting it on sale. IF I REALLY WANT TO. STILL DEBATING

I got $250.00 in June sales. It’s already July 11th and I’m getting that same amount next month. My white dresses are really starting to sell, and the squeaky shoes seem to be bustling out the door too! Hopefully we will bring in more…I’ll have to place new order soon for them too.

Here’s the girls Tumbling performance pictures.

It waas a long night for them. They were 28th on the list of 35 or so. I feel sorry for everyone that attended.

It ws long and late and a long drive away. We won’t be using the S. Acadamy for dance anymore. not worth the 100s of dollars in lessons and tickets. and a cruddy costume for $60.00 ea.

We paid 70/mo for Hailey and sierra to practice summersaults and hit a tamborine. absolutely not worth it. Irish dance is sooo much better – so far!
