Olives.

Aurora loves olives, just like, Mommy, Daddy and Aunt Kathy!!

(Hailey used to spit them OUT from a VERY young age)

Aurora has been just getting cuter and cuter. She is 21 Months old and she speaks and repeats words we say, she sings and trys to say the prayer – in a mumbly way while someone else is saying it. 

She loves climbing up on the table.  She loves running away from me, she loves dancing in her squeaky shoes, she loves dancing.  She’s sneaky and fast to get into mischief.

She absolutely LOVES her Daddy and runs to his office door every chance she can get!  I spend my day chasing her down.  And I continue to do so because she’s so flippin’ cute.  She runs away with a sweet snickering giggle and I can’t be mean to her. 

She’s the YOUNGEST I’m seeing it already.  I’m giving into her little gestures and laughing at them WAY more than I was with Hailey and Sierra.  I was pretty strict with them.

So little Aurora loves Olives and here she is with one of her new favorite foods.

There are 1,060 people in her school of the 4th 5th and 6th graders she came in Around 10th place!!  She won a ribbon certificate and some odds and ends.  We are very happy she did so well.

I actually got to go in and watch – I found a sitter for the kids =).

She was eliminated in the 1st round but it was APPEALED!!!!

Because she actually spelled her word right PERFUME.  But accidentally said PR (jumbled) then fixed it, but they had previously let a kid re-spell a word that had been jumbled a little.  I had to walk out and cry.  but when I came in they were debating letting her back in or not.  And they DID!  She went on between the 16 contestants and spelled Wiggle, then her last word was Treason and she spelled it Treasen.  Others were going out fast and girls were bawling their eyes out when the missed their words.  Hailey was VERY sad and “just wanted to go home and sit in bed”  it was a stressful thing for her to go through.  We practiced hard and she read and read words for weeks.

She felt a lot better when we started celebrating and they got their Certificates and Medals on the red white and blue ribbons.  I ran out to the car and got her some RedVines and lifesavers as a treat and then we went to her class and she got to tell them how she did.  it ended up GREAT!

Gotta go get waffles for Zach’s lunch.

I know it’s not Nathans Favorite things and i should be playing with the kids.

But I’m taking all my jewelry to a boutique for Febuary so it can make some money for me.  But I got on Craigs list and KSL and found people going out of business.  I can’t help but inquire and try to barter with them to get $1,000s for a couple hundred $1.s  I really want to expand.  But do I want the debt for a little while? Probably not, but Febuary is my MONTH for the boutique  and I know it will do AWESOMELY – especially since Valentines Day is around the corner.  HUMM. . .

Nothing fancy.  Sierra just wanted a picture printed that she could add to our Valentines gifts that she is secretly creating in her bedroom.

Aurora was already in bed, so I just got Hailey, Sierra and Zach.

It was a mystery who sent the roses and in anticipation Nathan helped me search for the letter. 

A simple loving note from my husband – THE BEST in the WORLD I may add.  After spending a week serving me and the children hand and foot he sends ME roses Me?.  Just beacuse he loves me – “for being me”.  OH MY GOODNESS!!  There is NOONE that can compare to him. NO ONE!

THANK YOU SOO MUCH! Nathan you are the biggest sweetheart that I have ever, EVER, EEVVEERR known!

I truly appreciate you and all the work you do for us and the love you throw into the family.

and the dishes one – he usually trys to get them done when I ahve an errand to run and I catch him right at the end of it – I’ll stay out of the house loinger if you need me to sweetie. =)

1. I have a “white” personality.

3. I like doing the dishes and laundry, but don’t like being caught doing them.
4. I wrote my first (and last) computer virus when I was 9 years old; got caught.

I left a message with the my doctor yesterday which ended in a teary sobbing voice.  I got a call back today.  I was finally out doing the errands Ihad planned to do on Saturday or Monday.  The babies were sleeping and there was a lull in work for Nathan so I was going to take 1.5 hrs to run to the P.O., Library, recycling center, lunch and Boutique to drop off my latest shipment of Squeaky Shoes.  I just finished up my conversation with the owner when the call came.

I needed to get to the CT scan machine ASAP for possible signs of internal bleeding.

WHAT???

My pain was not in my kidneys, it was not in my ureters it’s between my kidneys in the center of my body and it wasn’t there before the surgery.

I was really close to the Dr’s when I got the call and had been able to run all of my errands with some time to spare before naps were over.  So I headed straight to the office and tried calling Nathan 3 times, he must have been on a call or really busy ‘cuz I couldn’t get a hold of him to tell him what had happened, and that I was running late.

The scan went smoothly, but I have never had such a long important talk with a doctor as I have today, even with having 4 babies, hemorrhoid surgery, previous kidney stones, a miscarriage, & I’m sure there’s been more.

My concerns were important, his answers were well articulated.  He went over the CT scan with me.  Ther was no sign of internal bleeding or swelling.  which meant I am still recovering from the EMPSHOCKWAVE lithotripsy.  I have internal bruising and aches which seem to be more severe than others have had.  But  I passed all but 1 2mm fragment quickly which he says is VERY good.  Also all the medication I have been taking has not done anything for inflammation – which is probably why my insides hurt so bad so he recommended 3 Motrin 3 times a day along with the Percocet and anti nausea pill and Flomax to keep things running   I’m a medicine cabinet right now and my wight loss goals are not being reached – at all.

So he told me about all the downfalls of trying to laser vaporize and etch away the other stone and how bad that could be and how much worse I could feel after so i will be going through this again in about 3 weeks.  and hopefully things will go as smoothly as they supposedly did this time. 

The Dr had another guy come in today that was done on the same day as I, and his stone pieces were stuck. and he would have to repeat the procedure.  He says that happens quite a bit due to individual anatomy.

Ther is no easy way to prevent my kind of kidney stones.  I will need to drink a lot more and make sure I eat calcium when I eat anything with oxalates in them (anything from a plant – or that has been eating plants).

It could take 2 weeks before the bruising and aching inside really goes away in the meantime painkillers are the way to go.

I got home at 2:30.  I had left the house at 11:30 my trip had doubled.  But I think the kids slept thru most of it giving Nathan adequate time to work.

When I got home I took my meds. 

Nathan told me that his sister Shana had called in an order for dinner at Marie Callendars that he was supposed to pick up at 6:00

HOW SWEET!

I’m looking forward to it as he runs out and picks it up now.  The kids are all playing happily downstairs and it’s quiet on my bed as I blog.

It looks like I’m getting a calling for our new Ward tonight (we split from 3-5 wards last week)  we may or may not have the kids with us.  Depending on a sitter.

I never thought I’d have to carry on about this I thought 1 day down second up and dancing.

Not the case.

I’m sill achy.  both kidneys hurt, the brise will be there for a while – a barbaric arm punched at my back for about an hour to break up the stones in my kidneys, therefor causing bacteria to move, and the soft tissues to be hurt – badly!

My medicine is not strong enough – I’m going to try the anti-nausea medication and the percocet. 

If I get up and move a lot I tire out VERY fast.  now I’m not sure if it’s just the lack of activity lately, or the affects of the kidney not feeling well.

Poor Nathan, somone needs to send him a BOX OF CHOCOLATES OR A COOKIE BOUQUET.  He’s doing everything for the entire house.  all 4 kids and sick bed-bound Mom.  I had babies and bounced back FAR better than this  I was up and running in the hospital right after having each of them – even without pain killers.

Nathan must be looking forward to his trip to Vegas with his parents and brothers on Saturday.  and then the followinf week for Work then he won’t have to watch the lazy kids, the needy annoying kids, or the sick wife.  Oh I want to be better!

Heavenly Father please watch over my Hubby.  He needs you.  We need you.

I head out in 2 hours.  Leaving kids at my sweet back door – neighbor’s Karen.

Hailey and Sierra will walk home from school the weather is nice enough and it’s 1/2 day firday(as usual).  But instead of picking up 2 extras from school for their Friday playdate, I am sending them to the neighbors too.  Thier girls are the same age mine.

I got to go shopping last night for a set of baby doll gear for Aurora.  She will have a stroller, car seat, baby swing, and high chair to put her dolls in now.  I also ran to Gymboree to redeem my “Gymbucks” getting 50% off the clearance and regular items.  Zach needed some shirts.  I got 5 shirts from gymboree for $29 they are regular 14.95 + each. So he has some new shirts he’s really excited to wear.
